1 Et Ham divisa entre ses fils : Et la 1e portion vint pour Cush vers l’EST et à l’OUEST de lui pour Mizraim, et à l’OUEST de lui pour Put, et à l’OUEST de lui [et dans l’OUEST] sur la mer pour Canaan.
2 Et Shem aussi divisa entre ses fils : et la 1e portion vint pour Elam et ses fils à l’EST de la rivière Tigris jusqu’à approcher l’EST, tout le pays d’Inde et sur la Mer Rouge à ses côtes, et les eaux de Dedan et toutes les montagnes de Mebri et Ela et tout le pays de Susan et tout ce qui est sur le côté de Pharnak vers la Mer Rouge et la rivière Tina.
3 Et pour Asshur vint la 2e portion, tout le pays de Asshur et Nineveh et Shinar et jusqu’à la bordure de Inde et monte et contourne la rivière.
4 Et pour Arpachshad vint la 3e portion, tout le pays de la région de Chaldée vers l’EST de l’Euphrate bordant la Mer Rouge et toutes les eaux du désert près de la péninsule de la mer qui regarde vers l’Égypte, tout le pays du Liban et Sanir et Amana jusqu’au bord de l’Euphrate.
5 Et pour Aram revint la 4e portion, tout le pays de Mésopotamie entre le Tigre et l’Euphrate vers le NORD de Chaldée jusqu’au bord des montagnes d’Asshur et le pays de Arara.
6 Et voici ce qui alla à Lud en 5e portion, les montagnes de Asshur et tout ce qui leur appartenait jusqu’à arriver à la grande mer et jusqu’à atteindre l’EST de Asshur de son frère.
3 Et pour Asshur vint la 2e portion, tout le pays de Asshur et Nineveh et Shinar et jusqu’à la bordure de Inde et monte et contourne la rivière.
4 Et pour Arpachshad vint la 3e portion, tout le pays de la région de Chaldée vers l’EST de l’Euphrate bordant la Mer Rouge et toutes les eaux du désert près de la péninsule de la mer qui regarde vers l’Égypte, tout le pays du Liban et Sanir et Amana jusqu’au bord de l’Euphrate.
5 Et pour Aram revint la 4e portion, tout le pays de Mésopotamie entre le Tigre et l’Euphrate vers le NORD de Chaldée jusqu’au bord des montagnes d’Asshur et le pays de Arara.
6 Et voici ce qui alla à Lud en 5e portion, les montagnes de Asshur et tout ce qui leur appartenait jusqu’à arriver à la grande mer et jusqu’à atteindre l’EST de Asshur de son frère.
7 Et Japheth divisa aussi le pays de son héritage entre ses fils : Et la 1e portion alla à Gomer du côté NORD, à l’EST vers la rivière Tina, et au NORD il fut échu à Magog toutes les portions intérieures du NORD jusqu’à arriver à la mer de Meat.
8 Et pour Madai allait la portion qu’il devait posséder à l’OUEST de ses 2 frères jusqu’aux îles et jusqu’aux côtes des îles.
9 Et pour Javan allait comme 4e portion chaque île et les îles qui sont vers le bord de Lud.
10 Et à Tubal fut échue la 5e portion au milieu de la péninsule qui s’approche vers le bord de la portion de Lud à la 2e péninsule, vers la région devant la 2e péninsule jusqu’à la 3e péninsule.
11 Et pour Meshech alla en 6e portion toute la région devant la 3e péninsule jusqu’à approcher l’EST de Gadir.
12 Et à Tiras fut échue la 7e portion, 4 grandes îles au milieu de la mer qui atteignent la portion de Ham [et les îles de Kamaturi sortirent en lot pour les fils de Arpachshad pour son héritage].
8 Et pour Madai allait la portion qu’il devait posséder à l’OUEST de ses 2 frères jusqu’aux îles et jusqu’aux côtes des îles.
9 Et pour Javan allait comme 4e portion chaque île et les îles qui sont vers le bord de Lud.
10 Et à Tubal fut échue la 5e portion au milieu de la péninsule qui s’approche vers le bord de la portion de Lud à la 2e péninsule, vers la région devant la 2e péninsule jusqu’à la 3e péninsule.
11 Et pour Meshech alla en 6e portion toute la région devant la 3e péninsule jusqu’à approcher l’EST de Gadir.
12 Et à Tiras fut échue la 7e portion, 4 grandes îles au milieu de la mer qui atteignent la portion de Ham [et les îles de Kamaturi sortirent en lot pour les fils de Arpachshad pour son héritage].
13 Et voici, les fils de Noah séparèrent entre leurs fils en présence de leur père Noah et il les lia par un serment engageant une malédiction sur chacun qui chercherait à saisir la part qui ne [lui] a pas été échue dans son lot.
14 Et ils dirent tous : Qu’il en soit ainsi, qu’il en soit ainsi ! Pour eux-mêmes et leurs fils à toujours, à travers leurs descendants jusqu’au jour du jugement par lequel 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) Elohim les jugera avec une épée et avec le feu pour toutes les cruautés impures de leurs erreurs avec lesquelles ils auront remplies la terre de transgression et d’impureté, de fornication et de péché.
14 Et ils dirent tous : Qu’il en soit ainsi, qu’il en soit ainsi ! Pour eux-mêmes et leurs fils à toujours, à travers leurs descendants jusqu’au jour du jugement par lequel 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) Elohim les jugera avec une épée et avec le feu pour toutes les cruautés impures de leurs erreurs avec lesquelles ils auront remplies la terre de transgression et d’impureté, de fornication et de péché.

ויחלק חם לבניו ויצא הגורל הראשון לכוש לפאת קדמה ומזרחה לו לפוט ומערבה לו לכנען עד מערב הים:
And Ham divided amongst his sons, and the first portion came forth for Cush towards the east, and to the west of him for Mizraim, and to the west of him for Put, and to the west of him [and to the west thereof] on the sea for Canaan.
ויחלק שם גם הוא לבניו ויצא הגורל הראשון לעילם ולבניו מקדם לנהר חידקל עד לבוא ארץ הקדם:
And Shem also divided amongst his sons, and the first portion came forth for Elam and his sons, to the east of the river Tigris till it approacheth the east,
כל ארץ הודו ובים סוף בשפתו ומי דדן וכל הרים מברה ואילה וכל ארץ שושן וכל אשר לעבר פרנך עד ים סוף ועד נחל תינה:
the whole land of India, and on the Red Sea on its coast, and the waters of Dêdân, and all the mountains of Mebrî and ’Êlâ, and all the land of Sûsân and all that is on the side of Pharnâk to the Red Sea and the river Tînâ.
ולאשור יצא הגורל השני ארץ אשור ונינוה ושנער ועד גבול הודו ועלה לכתף הנחל:
And for Asshur came forth the second portion, all the land of Asshur and Nineveh and Shinar and to the border of India, and it ascendeth and skirteth the river.
ולארפכשד יצא הגורל השלישי כל הארץ חבל הכשדים לפאת מזרחה לנהר פרת קרוב לים ארתרה:
And for Arpachshad came forth the third portion, all the land of the region of the Chaldees to the east of the Euphrates, bordering on the Red Sea,
וכל מימי המדבר עד קרבת לשון הים הנשקף על ארץ מצרים וכל ארץ הלבנון ושניר ואמנה עד כתף פרת:
and all the waters of the desert close to the tongue of the sea which looketh towards Egypt, all the land of Lebanon and Sanîr and ’Amânâ to the border of the Euphrates.
ולארם יצא הגורל הרביעי כל ארץ ארם נהרים בין חידקל ובין פרת מצפון הכשדים עד לבוא הררי אשור:
And for Aram there came forth the fourth portion, all the land of Mesopotamia between the Tigris and the Euphrates to the north of the Chaldees to the border of the mountains of Asshur and the land of ’Arârâ.
לבנו יצא החלק החמישי הר אשור וכל יתר הארצות עד יקרב מזרחה אל אחיו אשור:
the whole land of India, and on the Red Sea on its coast, and the waters of Dêdân, and all the mountains of Mebrî and ’Êlâ, and all the land of Sûsân and all that is on the side of Pharnâk to the Red Sea and the river Tînâ.
וגם יפת חילק את ארץ הנחלה לבניו:
And Japheth also divided the land of his inheritance amongst his sons.
ויצא הגורל הראשון לגומר לפאת קדמה מן הצפון ועד הנחל תינה:
And the first portion came forth for Gomer to the east from the north side to the river Tînâ;
ובצפון יצא למגוג כל תוך הצפון עד לבא אל הים מעוט:
and in the north there came forth for Magog all the inner portions of the north until it reacheth to the sea of Mê’at.
ולמדי יצא לנחלה לרשת מערבה לשני אחיו עד האיים ועד גבולי האיים:
And for Madai came forth as his portion that he should possess from the west of his two brothers to the islands, and to the coasts of the islands.
וליון יצאה הנחלה הרביעית כל האי והאיים לכתף אלוד:
And for Javan came forth the fourth portion every island and the islands which are towards the border of Lud.
ולתובל יצאה הנחלה החמישית בין הלשון הפונה לפאת אודה נחלת לוד עד הלשון השניה הנוטה אל תוך הלשון השלישית:
And for Tubal there came forth the fifth portion in the midst of the tongue which approacheth towards the border of the portion of Lud to the second tongue, to the region beyond the second tongue unto the third tongue.
ולמשך יצאה הנחלה השישית וכל העבר השני מן הלשון השלישית עד לבוא קדמה גדיר:
And for Tubal there came forth the fifth portion in the midst of the tongue which approacheth towards the border of the portion of Lud to the second tongue, to the region beyond the second tongue unto the third tongue.
ולתירם יצאה הנחלה השביעית ויהי לו האיים הגדולים בתוך הים אשר בנחלת חם ואיי קמטורי:
And for Tiras there came forth the seventh portion, four great islands in the midst of the sea, which reach to the portion of Ham [and the islands of Kamâtûrî came out by lot
ולבני ארפכשד יצאה הנחלה המאושרה:
for the sons of Arpachshad as his inheritance].
ככה התנחלו בני נוח לבניהם לפני נוח אביהם וישבע אותם בשבועת אלה אם יתחרה איש מהם לכבוש נחלה אשר לא נפלה לו בגורל:
And thus the sons of Noah divided unto their sons in the presence of Noah their father, and he bound them all by an oath, imprecating a curse on every one that sought to seize the portion which had not fallen (to him) by his lot.
וכולם ענו ואמרו אמן ואמן להם ולבניהם עד עולם בדורותיהם:
And they all said, "So be it; so be it," for themselves and their sons for ever throughout their generations
עד יום המשפט אשר בו ישפוט ה' אלהים אותם בחרב ובאש על כל רעת טומאת עונותיהם כי מילאו את הארץ רשע וטומאת זנונים וחטאה:
till the day of judgment, on which the Lord God shall judge them with a sword and with fire, for all the unclean wickedness of their errors, wherewith they have filled the earth with transgression and uncleanness and fornication and sin.
ויחלק חם לבניו ויצא הגורל הראשון לכוש לפאת קדמה ומזרחה לו לפוט ומערבה לו לכנען עד מערב הים:
