Yobelim/Jubilés Chapitre 47
1 Et dans la 7e année de la 7e semaine du 47e jubilé, ton père partit de la terre de Canaan.
3 Alors elle te fit une arche et la recouvra de poix et d’asphalte et la plaça parmi les iris du bord de la rivière et t’y déposa pendant 7 jours.
4 Et ta mère venait la nuit pour t’allaiter et le jour Miriam ta sœur te protégeait des oiseaux.
5 Et dans ces jours, Tharmuth, la fille de pharaon vint se baigner dans la rivière et elle entendit ta voix qui criait et elle dit à ses servantes de t’apporter et elles t’apportèrent à elle.
6 Et elle te prit de l’arche et elle eut compassion de toi.
7 Et ta sœur lui dit : Est-ce que j’irai et appellerai pour toi une des femmes hébreux pour allaiter et s’occuper de ce bébé pour toi ?
8 Et elle [lui] dit : Va ! Et elle partit et appela ta mère Jochebed et elle lui donna ses gages pour qu’elle te nourrisse et ensuite, lorsque tu fut plus grand, ils t’apportèrent à la fille de pharaon et tu devins son fils.
9 Amram ton père t’apprit à écrire et quand tu eu 3 semaines (d'années) ils t’apportèrent à la cour royale et tu fus 3 semaines d’années à la cour jusqu’au moment où tu sortis de la cour royale et vis un égyptien frapper ton ami qui était des enfants d’Israël et tu le tuas et le cachas dans le sable.
10 Et au 2e jour de ce fait, deux des enfants d’Israël se disputaient ensemble et pour savoir qui était dans le tord tu lui demandas : Pourquoi frappes-tu ton frère ?
11 Et il était en colère et indigné et dit : Qui t’a fait un prince et un juge sur nous ? Penses-tu me tuer comme tu as tué l’égyptien hier ? Et tu eu peur à propos de ces mots.
ובשבוע השביעי בשנה השביעית ליובל השבעה וארבעים בא אביך מארץ כנען ואתה נולדת בשבוע הרביעי בשנה השישית ליובל הארבעים ושמונה בהיות ימי העוני לבני ישראל:
And in the seventh week, in the seventh year, in the forty-seventh jubilee, thy father went forth from the land of Canaan, and thou wast born in the fourth week, in the sixth year thereof, in the forty-eighth jubilee; this was the time of tribulation on the children of Israel.
ויצו פרעה מלך מצרים עליהם להשליך ילדיהם כל הבן הילוד היאורה:
And Pharaoh, king of Egypt, issued a command regarding them that they should cast all their male children which were born into the river.
וישליכו אותם שמה שבעה ירחים עד החודש אשר נולדת בו:
And they cast them in for seven months until the day that thou wast born.
ותצפנך אמך שלושה ירחים וילשינו עליה:
And thy mother hid thee for three months, and they told regarding her.
ותעש לך תיבה ותחמרה בזפת ובחמר ותשם אתה בסוף על שפת היאור ותשם אותך בה שבעת ימים:
And she made an ark for thee, and covered it with pitch and asphalt, and placed it in the flags on the bank of the river, and she placed thee in it seven days,
ותבוא אמך בלילה ותיניק אותך וביום שמרה עליך מרים אחותך מפני הצפרים:
and thy mother came by night and suckled thee, and by day Miriam, thy sister, guarded thee from the birds.
וביום ההוא באה תרמות בת פרעה לרחוץ על היאור ותשמע את קולך בוכה ותאמר אל נערותיה להביא אותך:
And in those days Tharmuth, the daughter of Pharaoh, came to bathe in the river, and she heard thy voice crying, and she told her maidens to bring thee forth, and they brought thee unto her.
ותאמר אחותך אליה האלך וקראתי לך אשה מן העבריות ותגדל ותיניק לך את הילד הזה:
And she took thee out of the ark, and she had compassion on thee.
And thy sister said unto her: "Shall I go and call unto thee one of the Hebrew women to nurse and suckle this babe for thee?"
ותלך ותקרא את אמך את יוכבד ותתן לה שכר לגדל אותך:
And she said (unto her): "Go." And she went and called thy mother Jochebed, and she gave her wages, and she nursed thee.
ותגדל ויביאו אותך אל בית פרעה ותהי לנער:
And afterwards, when thou wast grown up, they brought thee unto the daughter of Pharaoh, and thou didst become her son,
ואביך עמרם הורה אותך במקרא ואחר כן במלאת לך שלושה שבועים הביא אותך אל חצר המלך:
and Amram thy father taught thee writing, and after thou hadst completed three weeks they brought thee into the royal court.
ותהי בחצר שלושה שבועים עד עת צאתך מחצר המלך ותרא איש מצרי מכה רעך מבני ישראל:
And thou wast three weeks of years at court until the time when thou didst go forth from the royal court and didst see an Egyptian smiting thy friend who was of the children of Israel, and
ותך אותו ותטמנהו בחול:
thou didst slay him and hide him in the sand.
וביום המחרת מצאת שניים מבני ישראל נצים ותאמר לרשע למה תכה אחיך:
And on the second day thou didst find two of the children of Israel striving together, and thou didst say to him who was doing the wrong: "Why dost thou smite thy brother?
ויחר אפו ויאמר מי שמך לאיש שר ושופט עלינו הלהרגני אתה אומר כאשר הרגת את המצרי ותירא ותברח מפני הדבר הזה:
And he was angry and indignant, and said "Who made thee a prince and a judge over us? Thinkest thou to kill me as thou killedst the Egyptian yesterday?" And thou didst fear and flee on account of these words.
