Yobelim/Jubilés Chapitre 44
1 Et à la tête du 3e mois, Israël partit en voyage de sa maison, d’Haran, et prit le chemin vers le puits du serment et au 7e du mois il offrit un sacrifice à l'Elohim de son père Isaac.
2 Et Jacob se souvint du rêve qu’il avait vu à Bethel et il craignit de partir en Égypte, et alors qu’il pensait à envoyer un mot à Joseph pour lui dire de venir vers lui et qu’il n’irait pas, il resta là 7 jours pour voir s’il n’aurait pas une vision afin de savoir s’il devait rester ou partir.
3 Et il célébra la Fête de la récolte des premiers-fruits avec le vieux grain, car dans toute la terre de Canaan il n’y avait pas une pleine poignée de semence [sur la terre], car la famine était sur toutes les bêtes et bétail et oiseaux et aussi sur l’homme.
4 Et au 16e jour, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) lui apparut et lui dit : Jacob, Jacob.
5 Et il dit : Je suis ici. Et il lui dit : Je suis l'Elohim de tes pères, l'Elohim d’Abraham et d’Isaac ; ne crains pas de descendre en Égypte, car je ferai de toi une grande nation et j’irai avec toi et je te ramènerai [de nouveau] et tu seras enterré dans cette terre et Joseph mettra ses mains sur tes yeux. Ne crains pas, va en Égypte !
7 Et Israël se leva du puits du serment au 16e du 3e mois et il alla dans la terre d’Égypte.
8 Et Israël envoya Judah devant lui vers son fils Joseph pour examiner la terre de Goshen, car Joseph avait dit à ses frères qu’ils pouvaient venir et y habiter afin qu’ils soient près de lui.
9 Et c’était la meilleure [terre] de la terre d’Égypte et proche de lui, pour tous [ceux d’entre eux] et aussi pour le bétail.
11 Reuben le premier-né d’Israël et voici les noms de ses fils, Enoch et Pallu et Hezron et Carmi → 5 ;
12 Siméon et les siens et voici les noms de ses fils, Jemuel et Jamin et Ohad et Jachin et Zohar et Shaul le fils de la femme Zephanite → 7 ;
13 Lévi et ses fils et voici les noms de ses fils, Gershon et Kohath et Merari → 4 ;
14 Judah et ses fils et voici les noms de ses fils, Shela, Perez et Zerah → 4 ;
15 Issachar et ses fils et voici les noms de ses fils, Tola, Phua, Jasub, Shimron → 5 ;
16 Zebulon et ses fils et voici les noms de ses fils, Sered et Elon et Jahleel → 4 ;
17 et ce sont les 6 fils de Jacob et leurs fils que Léah porta à Jacob en Mesopotamie et leur seule sœur Dinah et toutes les âmes des fils de Léah et leurs fils qui allèrent avec Jacob leur père en Égypte étaient de 29 et Jacob leur père étant avec eux, ils étaient 30.
18 Et les fils de Zilpah, la servante de Léah, la femme de Jacob porta à Jacob Gad et Asher et voici les noms de leurs fils qui allèrent avec lui en Égypte ;
19 les fils de Gad, Ziphion et Haggi et Shuni et Ezbon [et Eri et Areli et Arodi] → 8 ;
20 et les fils de Asher, Imnah et Ishvah [et Ishvi] et Beriah et Serah leur sœur → 6 ;
21 toutes les âmes étaient de 14 et celles de Léah étaient en tout 44.
22 Et les fils de Rachel la femme de Jacob, Joseph et Benjamin, et les fils qui furent nés à Joseph en Égypte avant que son père vint en Égypte, ceux-là que Asenath, fille de Potiphar, sacrificateur d’Heliopolis, lui porta,
23 Manasseh et Éphraïm → 3 ;
24 et les fils de Benjamin, Bela et Becher et Ashbel, Gera et Naaman et Ehi et Rosh et Muppim et Huppim et Ard → 11.
25 Et toutes les âmes de Rachel étaient de 14.
26 Et les fils de Bilhah, la servante de Rachel, la femme de Jacob porta à Jacob étaient Dan et Naphtali et voici les noms de leurs fils qui allèrent avec eux en Égypte ;
27 et les fils de Dan étaient Hushim et Samon et Asudi et Tjaka et Salomon → 6,
28 mais ils moururent l’année où ils entrèrent en Égypte et il restait à Dan seulement Hushim,
29 et voici les noms des fils de Naphtali, Jahziel et Guni et Jezer et Shallum et Iv → 6,
30 mais Iv qui était né après les années de famine mourut en Égypte. Et les âmes de Rachel étaient en tout 26.
31 Et les âmes de Jacob qui allèrent en Égypte étaient en tout 70 âmes ; ce sont ses enfants et les enfants de ses enfants, en tout 70, mais 5 moururent en Égypte devant Joseph et n’avaient pas d’enfant.
32 Et dans la terre de Canaan, 2 fils de Judah moururent, Er et Onan, et ils n’avaient pas d’enfant, et les enfants d’Israël enterrèrent ceux qui périrent et ils furent comptés parmi les 70 nations païennes.
ויסע ישראל מחברון בראש החודש השלישי ויבוא בארה שבע ויזבח זבח לאלוהי אביו יצחק בשביעי לחודש הזה:
And Israel took his journey from Haran from his house on the new moon of the third month, and he went on the way of the Well of the Oath, and he offered a sacrifice to the God of his father Isaac on the seventh of this month.
ויזכור יעקב את החלום אשר חלם בבית אל ויירא מרדה מצרימה:
And Jacob remembered the dream that he had seen at Bethel, and he feared to go down into Egypt.
ובעלות על לבבו לשלוח לאמור ליוסף כי יבוא אליו וכי הוא לא ירד שמה ישב שם שבעת ימים אולי יוודע אליו במראה אם ישוב או ירד:
And while he was thinking of sending word to Joseph to come to him, and that he would not go down, he remained there seven days, if perchance he should see a vision as to whether he should remain or go down.
ויעש את חג הקציר בכורי פרי האדמה מן הדגן הישן כי לא היה מלוא חופנים זרע בכל ארץ כנען רק בצורת לכל חיה ובהמה ועוף אדם:
And he celebrated the harvest festival of the first-fruits with old grain, for in all the land of Canaan there was not a handful of seed (in the land), for the famine was over all the beasts and cattle and birds, and also over man.
ובשישה עשר נראה אליו האלוהים ויאמר יעקב יעקב ויאמר הנני:
And on the sixteenth the Lord appeared unto him, and said unto him, "Jacob, Jacob"; and he said, "Here am I."
ויאמר אליו אנכי אלהי אבותיך אברהם ויצחק אל תירא ורדה מצרימה כי לגוי גדול אשימך שם:
And He said unto him: "I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham and Isaac; fear not to go down into Egypt, for I will there make of thee a great nation.
אנכי ארד עמך ואנכי אשיבך אל הארץ הזאת להקבר שם ויוסף ישית ידיו על עיניך אל תירא לך מצרימה:
I shall go down with thee, and I shall bring thee up (again), and in this land wilt thou be buried, and Joseph will put his hands upon thy eyes. Fear not; go down into Egypt."
ויסעו בניו ובני בניו וישאו את אביהם ואת רכושם בעגלות:
And his sons rose up, and his sons' sons, and they placed their father and their possessions upon wagons.
ויסע ישראל מבאר שבע בשישה עשר לחודש השלישי הזה וילך ארצה מצרים:
And Israel rose up from the Well of the Oath on the sixteenth of this third month, and he went to the land of Egypt.
וישלח ישראל את יהודה בנו לפניו אל יוסף לראות את ארץ גושן:
And Israel sent Judah before him to his son Joseph to examine the Land of Goshen,
כי יוסף אמר לאחיו לבוא שמה לשבת שם ולהיות קרובים אליו:
for Joseph had told his brothers that they should come and dwell there that they might be near him.
וארץ טובה היא בארץ מצרים וקרובה אליו לכולם ולבהמה:
And this was the goodliest (land) in the land of Egypt, and near to him, for all (of them) and also for the cattle.
אלה שמות בני ישראל הבאים מצרימה את יעקב אביהם:
And these are the names of the sons of Jacob who went into Egypt with Jacob their father.
יעקב אביהם ראובן בכור ישראל:
Reuben, the first-born of Israel;
ואלה שמות בניו חנוך פלוא חצרן כרמי חמשה:
and these are the names of his sons: Enoch, and Pallu, and Hezron and Carmi--five.
שמעון ובניו ואלה שמות בניו ימואל ימין אהד יכין צהר שאול בן הכנענית שבעה:
Simeon and his sons; and these are the names of his sons: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul, the son of the Zephathite woman--seven.
לוי ובניו ואלה שמות בניו גרשון ומררי ארבעה:
Levi and his sons; and these are the names of his sons: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari--four.
יהודה ובניו ואלה שמות בניו שלה פרץ וזרח:
Judah and his sons; and these are the names of his sons: Shela, and Perez, and Zerah--four.
יששכר ובניו ואלה שמות בניו תולע פואה וישוב ושמרון חמשה:
Issachar and his sons; and these are the names of his sons: Tola, and Phûa, and Jâsûb, and Shimron--five.
זבולון ובניו ואלה שמות בניו סרד ואלון ויחלאל ארבעה:
Zebulon and his sons; and these are the names of his sons: Sered, and Elon, and Jahleel--four.
ואלה בני יעקב אשר ילדה לאה ליעקב בפדן ארם שישה בנים ואחות אחת אשר להם דינה:
And these are the sons of Jacob, and their sons, whom Leah bore to Jacob in Mesopotamia, six, and their one sister, Dinah:
ויהי כל נפש בני לאה ובניהם הבאה ליעקב אביהם מצרימה עשרים ותשע עם יעקב אביהם היו שלושים:
and all the souls of the sons of Leah, and their sons, who went with Jacob their father into Egypt, were twenty-nine, and Jacob their father being with them, they were thirty.
ובני זלפה שפחת לאה אשת יעקב אשר ילדה ליעקב גד ואשר:
And the sons of Zilpah, Leah's handmaid, the wife of Jacob, whom she bore unto Jacob, Gad and Asher.
ואלה שמות בניהם הבאים אתם מצרימה בני גד צפיון אגתי שוני אזון ערבי ארדי ואראלי שמונה:
And these are the names of their sons who went with him into Egypt: the sons of Gad: Ziphion, and Haggi, and Shuni, and Ezbon, (and Eri) and Areli, and Arodi--eight.
בני אשר ימנה וישוה וישוי ובריעה ושרח אחותם כל נפש ארבע עשרה וכל בני לאה ארבעים וארבעה:
And the sons of Asher: Imnah, and Ishvah, (and Ishvi), and Beriah, and Serah, their one sister--six.
All the souls were fourteen, and all those of Leah were forty-four.
ובני רחל אשת יעקב יוסף ובנימין:
And the sons of Rachel, the wife of Jacob: Joseph and Benjamin.
ויולד ליוסף במצרים עד בוא אביו מצרימה אשר ילדה לו אסנת בת פוטיפרע מאון את מנשה ואת אפרים שלושה:
And there were born to Joseph in Egypt before his father came into Egypt, those whom Asenath, daughter of Potiphar priest of Heliopolis bare unto him, Manasseh, and Ephraim--three.
בני בנימין לאבעל אשבל גרא נעמן אברודיה רפא יניני חופים יעם געם אחד עשר וכל בני רחל ארבעה עשר:
And the sons of Benjamin: Bela and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, and Ehi, and Rosh, and Muppim, and Huppim, and Ard--eleven.
And all the souls of Rachel were fourteen.
ובני בלהה שפחת רחל אשת יעקב אשר ילדה ליעקב דן ונפתלי:
And the sons of Bilhah, the handmaid of Rachel, the wife of Jacob, whom she bare to Jacob, were Dan and Naphtali.
ואלה שמות בניהם הבאים אתם מצרימה בני דן חושים שמון אשוד ישק שלמה שישה:
And these are the names of their sons who went with them into Egypt. And the sons of Dan were Hushim, and Sâmôn, and Asûdî, and ’Îjâka, and Salômôn--six.
וימותו במצרים בשנת בואם שמה ויוותר לדן חשים לבדו:
And they died the year in which they entered into Egypt, and there was left to Dan Hushim alone.
ואלה שמות בני נפתלי יחצאל גוני יצר יכום אוח שישה:
And these are the names of the sons of Naphtali: Jahziel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shallum, and ‘Îv.
וימת אוח הנולד אחר השנה הראשונה לשני הרעב וכל בני רחל יחד היו עשרים ושישה:
And ‘Îv, who was born after the years of famine, died in Egypt. And all the souls of Rachel were twenty-six.
וכל הנפש ליעקב הבאה מצרימה שבעים נפש:
And all the souls of Jacob which went into Egypt were seventy souls.
אלה בניו ובני בניו יחדיו שבעים וחמישה מהם מתו במצרים על פני יוסף ובנים לא היו להם:
These are his children and his children's children, in all seventy; but five died in Egypt before Joseph, and had no children.
ובארץ כנען מתו ליהודה שני בניו ער ואונן ובנים לא היו להם:
And in the land of Canaan two sons of Judah died, Er and Onan, and they had no children,
ובני ישראל קברו את המתים ויהיו כמספר נפש השבעים:
and the children of Israel buried those who perished, and they were reckoned among the seventy Gentile nations.
