Yobelim/Jubilés Chapitre 33

1 Et Jacob partit et habita au SUD de Magdaladraef et à la tête du 10e mois il partit vers son père Isaac, lui et sa femme Léah.

2 Et Reuben vit Bilhah la servante de Rachel, la concubine de son père, se baigner dans l’eau à un endroit secret et il l’aima. 

3 Et il se cacha la nuit puis entra dans la maison de Bilhah [la nuit] et il la trouva seule endormie dans un lit dans sa maison et il s’allongea avec elle et elle se réveilla et vit, et voici, Reuben était allongé avec elle et elle défit le bord de sa couverture et le saisit et cria en voyant que c’était Reuben, et elle eut honte à cause de lui et ôta sa main sur lui et il s’enfuit et elle se lamenta extrêmement à cause de cette chose et ne le dit à personne.

4 Et quand Jacob revint et la chercha, elle lui dit : Je ne suis pas propre pour toi, car j’ai été souillée vis-à-vis de toi, car Reuben m’a souillée et s’est couché avec moi dans la nuit lorsque j’étais endormie et je ne l’ai pas découvert jusqu’à ce qu’il soulève ma jupe et couche avec moi. 

5 Et Jacob était extrêmement en colère contre Reuben, car il avait couché avec Bilhah, car il a soulevé la jupe de son père, et Jacob ne l’approcha plus à cause de Reuben qui l’avait souillée.

6 Et ainsi pour tout homme qui aura soulevé la jupe de son père, son action est extrêmement mauvaise, car il est abominable devant 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) et pour cette raison il est écrit et ordonné sur les tablettes célestes qu’un homme ne doit pas coucher avec la femme de son père et ne doit pas soulever la jupe de son père, car c’est impropre, ils mourront certainement conjointement, l’homme qui couche avec la femme de son père et la femme aussi, car ils apportent l’impureté sur la terre. 

7 Et il n’y aura rien d’impur devant notre Elohim dans la nation qu’Il a choisie pour Lui comme une possession.

8 Et il est encore écrit une seconde fois : Maudit est celui qui couche avec la femme de son père, car il a découvert la honte de son père. 

9 Et tous les saints êtres de 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) dirent : Qu’il en soit ainsi, qu’il en soit ainsi !

10 Et toi Moïse, commande aux enfants d’Israël qu’ils observent cette parole, car elle [implique] une punition de mort et c’est une impureté et il n’y a pas d’expiation jamais * pour expier l’homme qui l’a commise mais il devra être mis à mort, tué et lapidé avec des pierres et déraciné du milieu du peule de notre Elohim. 

* Explication : Jamais d'expiation de ce péché par des sacrifices d'animaux contrairement à d'autres péchés. Jamais d'expiation de ce péché SANS la repentantce et la Miséricorde d'Elohim, voir Elohim qui pardonna au roi David. Sans la repentantce et la Miséricorde d'Elohim, c'est un péché qui mène obligatoirement à la mort. Jamais d'expiation de ce péché sans le sang de l'homme versé qui a commis la faute. Voir le Machia'h Yéshoua qui prit ces péchés dignes de mort sur Lui-Même. Yéshoua, Seul Moyen de Salut pour ceux qui se repentent.

11 Car tout homme qui fait ainsi en Israël n’est pas autorisé à rester vivant un jour de plus sur la terre, car il est abominable et impur. 

12 Et qu’ils ne disent pas que Reuben est gratifié de la vie et du pardon après qu’il ait couché avec la concubine de son père et elle aussi alors qu’elle a un mari et son mari, Jacob son père, est encore vivant, car jusqu’à ce temps il n’y avait pas été révélé d’ordonnance ni de jugement et loi dans leur entier pour tous, mais dans ces jours il [a été révélé] une loi des saisons et des jours comme une loi éternelle pour les générations éternelles. 

13 Et pour cette loi il n’y a pas de limite de jours et ni d’expiation pour cela mais ils doivent tous deux être déracinés du milieu de la nation ; ils seront tués le jour qu’ils commettront cela.

14 Et toi Moïse, écris [cela] pour Israël afin d’observer et d’appliquer conformément ces paroles et ne pas commettre un péché de mort, car 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) notre Elohim est juge et n’excepte aucune personne et n’accepte aucun présent.

15 Et dis-leur ces paroles de l’alliance afin qu’ils entendent et observent et soient sur leur garde en les considérant et ne soient pas détruits et déracinés de la terre, car impureté et abomination et contamination et pollution sont tous ceux qui commettent cela sur la terre devant notre Elohim et il n’y a pas de plus grand péché que la fornication qu’ils commettent sur terre, car Israël est une nation sainte pour 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) son Elohim et une nation en héritage et une nation royale et de sacrificature pour possession [en propre] ; qu’il n’apparaisse pas de telle impureté au milieu de la nation sainte.

16 Et dans la 3e année de cette 6e semaine, Jacob et tous ses fils partirent et habitèrent dans la maison d’Abraham près d’Isaac son père et Rébecca sa mère. Et voici les noms des fils de Jacob :

17 les fils de Léah - le premier-né Reuben, Siméon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulon ; 

18 et les fils de Rachel - Joseph et Benjamin ; 

19 et les fils de Bilhah - Dan et Naphtali ; 

20 et les fils de Zilpah - Gad et Asher ; 

21 et Dinah la fille de Léah, la seule fille de Jacob.

22 Et ils vinrent et s’inclinèrent vers Isaac et Rébecca, et quand ils les virent ils bénirent Jacob et tous ses fils et Isaac se réjouit extrêmement, car il voyait les fils de Jacob son plus jeune fils et il les bénit.

ויסע יעקב הלאה וישב צפונה במגדל עדר:

And Jacob went and dwelt to the south of Magdalâdrâ’êf.

וילך אל יצחק אביו הוא ולאה אשתו בראש החודש העשירי:

And he went to his father Isaac, he and Leah his wife, on the new moon of the tenth month.

וירא ראובן את בלהה שפחת רחל פילגש אביו רוחצת במים במקום נסתר ותחשק נפשו בה וייסתר בלילה ויבוא באוהל בלהה וימצאה בלילה שוכבת לבדה על מטתה וישנה באהלה:

And Reuben saw Bilhah, Rachel's maid, the concubine of his father, bathing in water in asecret place, and he loved her.
And he hid himself at night, and he entered the house of Bilhah [at night], and he found her sleeping alone on a bed in her house.

וישכב אצלה על המיטה ויגל את ערוותה ותלפות אותו ותצעק:

And he lay with her, and she awoke and saw, and behold Reuben was lying with her in the bed, and she uncovered the border of her covering and seized him, and cried out,

ויהי כהכירה אותו כי ראובן הוא ותיכלם מפניו ותרף את ידה ממנו ותברח ותתאבל מאוד על המעשה הזה ולא הגידה לאיש דבר:

and discovered that it was Reuben.
And she was ashamed because of him, and released her hand from him, and he fled.
And she lamented because of this thing exceedingly, and did not tell it to any one.


ויהי כבוא יעקב לפקוד אותה ותאמר אליו אינני טהורה לך כי אם חללה אני לך כי ראובן עינה אותי ושכב עימי בלילה כאשר ישנתי באהלי ולא ידעתי אותו עד אם גילה ערותי ושכב עימדי ויחר אף יעקב בראובן כי שכב את בלהה וגילה כנף אביו:

And when Jacob returned and sought her, she said unto him: "I am not clean for thee, for I have been defiled as regards thee; for Reuben hath defiled me, and hath lain with me in the night, and I was asleep, and did not discover until he uncovered my skirt and slept with me."
And Jacob was exceedingly wroth with Reuben because he had lain with Bilhah, because he had uncovered his father's skirt.

ולא קרב יעקב עוד אליה כי טימא ראובן אותה וגילה כנף אביו לפני כל איש:

And Jacob did not approach her again because Reuben had defiled her. And as for any man who uncovereth his father's skirt.

כי מעשהו היה רע מאוד כי תועבה היא לפני ה':

his deed is wicked exceedingly, for he is abominable before the Lord.

על כן כתוב וחרות על לוחות השמים אשר לא ישכב איש עם אשת אביו ולא יגלה כנף אביו כי תועבה היא:

For this reason it is written and ordained on the heavenly tables that a man should not lie with his father's wife, and should not uncover his father's skirt, for this is unclean:

מות יומת האיש הנבל אשר ישכב את אשת אביו וגם האישה כי תבל עשו על הארץ:

they shall surely die together, the man who lieth with his father's wife and the woman also, for they have wrought uncleanness on the earth.


ולא יהיה כל טמא לפני אלוהינו בתוך העם אשר בחר בו לסגולת מלכים:

And there shall be nothing unclean before our God in the nation which He hath chosen for Himself as a possession.

ועוד כתוב ארור שוכב עם אשת אביו כי גילה ערות אביו ואמרו כל קדושי ה' אמן ואמן:

And again, it is written a second time: "Cursed he be who lieth with the wife of his father, for he hath uncovered his father's shame"; and all the holy ones of the Lord said "So be it; so be it."

ואתה משה צו את בני ישראל ושמרו את הדבר הזה כי משפט מוות בו וטמא הוא ואין כפרה לכפר על איש אשר עשה את הרעה הזאת כי אם בהרוג ובהמית ובסקול ובהכרית אותו מקרב עם אלוהינו:

And do thou, Moses, command the children of Israel that they observe this word; for it (entaileth) a punishment of death; and it is unclean, and there is no atonement for ever to atone for the man who hath committed this, but he is to be put to death and slain, and stoned with stones, and rooted out from the midst of the people of our God.

אף יום אחד לא יחיה על הארץ האיש העושה זאת בישראל כי פיגול וטמא היא:

For to no man who doeth so in Israel is it permitted to remain alive a single day on the earth, for he is abominable and unclean.

ולא יאמרו כי חיה חיה ראובן ונסלח לו אחרי שכבו את פילגש אביו בעוד אישה יעקב אביו חי:

And let them not say: to Reuben was granted life and forgiveness after he had lain with his father's concubine, and to her also though she had a husband, and her husband Jacob, his father, was still alive.


כי אז טרם יצוה המשמרת והמשפט והחוקה עד תומה להיות חוק עולם לכל אדם:

For until that time there had not been revealed the ordinance and judgment and law in its completeness for all,

כי בימיך היה לחוק עת וימים וחוק עולם לדורות עולם:

but in thy days (it hath been revealed) as a law of seasons and of days, and an everlasting law for the everlasting generations.

ואין קצה לחוק הזה ואין סליחה לעוון כזה כי אם היכרת יכרתו שניהם יחדו מקרב העם ביום עשותם זאת יומתו:

And for this law there is no consummation of days, and no atonement for it, but they must both be rooted out in the midst of the nation: on the day whereon they committed it they shall slay them.

ואתה משה כתוב זאת לישראל לשמור ולעשות על פי הדבר הזה ולא יעשו חטא משפט מוות כי ה' אלוהינו הוא שופט אשר לא ישא פנים ולא יקח שוחד:

And do thou, Moses, write (it) down for Israel that they may observe it, and do according to these words, and not commit a sin unto death; for the Lord our God is judge, who respecteth not persons and accepteth not gifts.

ואמור להם את החוקה הזאת למען ישמעו ויזהרו וישמרו לנפשותם ולא יאבדו ולא יכרתו מן הארץ:

And tell them these words of the covenant, that they may hear and observe, and be on their guard with respect to them, and not be destroyed and rooted out of the land;

כי טמא ותועבה ונכתם וחלל כל עושה זאת על הארץ לפני אלוהינו:

for an uncleanness, and an abomination, and a contamination, and a pollution are all they who commit it on the earth before our God.


ואין חטא גדול על הארץ מהזנות אשר הם זונים כי ישראל עם קדוש לה ועם נחלה לאלוהיו ועם ממלכת כהנים וסגולה:

And there is no greater sin than the fornication which they commit on earth; for Israel is a holy nation unto the Lord its God, and a nation of inheritance, and a priestly and royal nation and for (His own) possession;

ולא ימצא ולא יראה איש טמא כזה בתוך העם הקדוש:

and there shall no such uncleanness appear in the midst of the holy nation.

ובשנה השלישית לשבוע השישי ההוא יצאו יעקב וכל בניו וישבו בבית אברהם עם יצחק אביו ורבקה אימו:

And in the third year of this sixth week Jacob and all his sons went and dwelt in the house of Abraham, near Isaac his father and Rebecca his mother.

ואלה שמות בני יעקב בכורו ראובן שמעון לוי יהודה יששכר זבולון בני לאה:

And these were the names of the sons of Jacob: the first-born Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulon, the sons of Leah;

ובני רחל יוסף ובנימין:

and the sons of Rachel, Joseph and Benjamin;

ובני בלהה דן ונפתלי ובני זילפה גד ואשר ודינה בת לאה בת יחידה ליעקב:

and the sons of Bilhah, Dan and Naphtali, and the sons of Zilpah, Gad and Asher; and Dinah, the daughter of Leah, the only daughter of Jacob.

וילכו וישתחוו לפני יצחק ורבקה ויהי כראותם אותם ויברכו את יעקב ואת כל בניו:

And they came and bowed themselves to Isaac and Rebecca, and when they saw them they blessed Jacob and all his sons,


וישמח יצחק מאוד כי ראה את בני יעקב בנו הקטן ויברכם:

and Isaac rejoiced exceedingly, for he saw the sons of Jacob, his younger son, and he blessed them.
