Yobelim/Jubilés Chapitre 32
1 Et Lévi rêva qu’ils l’avaient ordonné et firent de lui le sacrificateur du Plus-haut Elohim, lui et ses fils pour toujours, et il se réveilla de son sommeil et bénit 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH).
2 Et le 14e de ce mois, en matinée, Jacob se leva tôt et il donna la dîme de tout ce qu’il avait amené avec lui, homme et bétail ensemble, or et tout contenant et vêtement ensemble, oui, il donna le 10e de tout.
3 Et en ces jours Rachel devint enceinte de son fils Benjamin.
4 Et Jacob compta ses fils vers le haut et Lévi tombait dans la portion de 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) et son père le vêtit des habits de sacrificature et remplit ses mains.
5 Et le 15e de ce mois il apporta sur l’autel 14 bœufs parmi le bétail et 28 béliers et 49 moutons et 7 agneaux et 21 petits des chèvres en offrande au feu sur l’autel du sacrifice, de douce odeur bien plaisante devant Elohim.
6 Ce fut son offrande en conséquence du vœu qu’il avait juré qu’il donnerait un 10e avec leurs offrandes de fruits et leurs offrandes de boissons, et quand le feu les consumait, il brûla de l’encens au feu au-dessus du feu et une offrande de remerciement de 2 bœufs et 4 béliers et 4 moutons, 4 boucs et 2 moutons d’un an et 2 petits des chèvres ; et il fit cela journalièrement pendant 7 jours.
8 Et il prit la dîme de tous les animaux purs et fit un sacrifice au feu mais il ne donna pas les animaux impurs à Lévi son fils et lui donna toutes les âmes des hommes.
9 Et Lévi prit en charge le service de la sacrificature à Bethel devant Jacob son père de préférence à ses 10 frères et là il fut sacrificateur et Jacob réalisa ainsi son vœu, il prit la dîme sur la dîme de 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) et la sanctifia, et elle devint sainte devant lui.
10 Et pour cette raison, il est ordonné sur les tablettes célestes comme une loi pour la dîme sur la dîme de manger devant 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) d’année en année, à l’endroit qui est choisi où son Nom habitera, et à cette loi il n’y a pas de limite de jours pour toujours.
11 Cette ordonnance est écrite afin qu’elle se fasse d’année en année de manger la 2e dîme devant 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) à l’endroit qui aura été choisie et il n’en restera rien de cette année à l’année suivante.
12 Car dans son année la semence sera mangée jusqu’aux jours d’assemblement de la semence de l’année et le vin jusqu’aux jours de vin et l’huile jusqu’aux jours de sa saison.
13 Et que tout ce qui reste là et devient vieux et que ce soit considéré comme pollué et que ce soit brûlé au feu, car c’est impur.
13 Et voici, qu’ils en mangent ensemble dans le sanctuaire mais qu’on ne permette pas que cela devienne vieux.
14 Et toutes les dîmes de bœuf et de mouton seront saintes pour 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) et reviendront aux sacrificateurs qui en mangeront devant lui d’année en année, car voici, cela est ordonné et gravé concernant la dîme sur les tablettes célestes.
16 Et 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) lui apparut de nuit et le bénit et lui dit : Ton nom ne sera pas appelé Jacob mais Israël appelleront-ils ton nom.
17 Et il lui dit encore : Je suis 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) qui créa le ciel et la terre et Je vais t’accroitre et te multiplier extrêmement et des rois sortiront de toi et ils jugeront partout où les pieds des enfants des hommes auront marché.
18 Et Je donnerai à ta semence toute la terre qui est sous le ciel et ils jugeront les nations selon leurs volontés et après cela ils prendront possession de toute la terre et l’hériteront à toujours.
20 Va à la maison d’Abraham ton père et habite avec ton père Isaac jusqu’au jour de la mort de ton père, car en Égypte tu mourras en paix et tu seras enterré dans cette terre avec honneur dans le sépulcre de tes pères avec Abraham et Isaac.
21 Ne crains pas, car comme tu l’as vu et lu, voici, tout cela sera, et écris toute chose que tu as vue et lue.
22 Et Jacob dit : 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) comment me rappeler tout ce que j’ai lu et vu ?
23 Et il lui dit : J’amènerai toutes choses à ta mémoire.
24 Et il se départit de lui et il se réveilla de son sommeil et il se rappela toute chose qu’il avait lue et vue et il écrit tous les mots qu’il avait lus et vus.
25 Et il célébra là un autre jour et il sacrifia là suivant tout ce qu’il sacrifia les jours précédents et l’appela du nom Addition, car ce jour fut ajouté aux jours précédents qu’il appela La fête.
26 Et ainsi il était manifeste que cela soit et fut inscrit sur les tablettes célestes quand il lui fut révélé qu’il devait célébrer cela et l’ajouta aux 7 jours et son nom était appelé Addition, car il était inscrit parmi les jours de la fête selon le nombre des jours de l’année.
28 Et Rébecca partit et retourna à sa maison, vers son père, et Jacob envoya par sa mains des béliers et des moutons et bouc afin qu’elle prépare un repas pour son père comme il aimait. Et il accompagna sa mère puis partit vers la terre de Kabratan et il y habita.
וישב בלילה ההוא בבית אל ויחלום לוי והנה מלאו ידיו וידי בניו לכהונת עולם לכהן לפני אל עליון:
And he abode that night at Bethel, and Levi dreamed that they had ordained and made him the priest of the Most High God,him and his sons for ever;
וייקץ משנתו ויברך לה:
and he awoke from his sleep and blessed the Lord.
וישכם יעקב בבוקר בארבעה עשר לחודש הזה ויעשר מכל:
And Jacob rose early in the morning, on the fourteenth of this month, and he gave a tithe of all that came with him, both of men and cattle, both of gold and every vessel and garment, yea, he gave tithes of all.
ובימים ההם הרתה רחל את בנימין בנה ויפקוד יעקב את בניו ממנו ולמעלה ויפול חבל ה' על לוי:
And in those days Rachel became pregnant with her son Benjamin. And Jacob counted his sons from him upwards and Levi fell to the portion of the Lord,
וילבש אותו בגדי כהונה וימלא את ידיו:
and his father clothed him in the garments of the priesthood and filled his hands.
ובחמישה עשר לחודש הזה הקריב על המזבח ארבעה עשר פרים בני בקר ועשרים ושמונה אילים וארבעים ותשעה כבשים ושישים טלאים ועשרים ותשעה גדיי עיזים לאישה על המזבח ולנדבת רצון לריח ניחוח לה:
And on the fifteenth of this month, he brought to the altar fourteen oxen from amongst the cattle, and twenty-eight rams, and forty-nine sheep, and seven lambs, and twenty-one kids of the goats as a burnt-offering on the altar of sacrifice, well pleasing for a sweet savour before God
זאת עולת שלמי נדרו אשר נדר לתת את המעשר על מנחתם וניסכיהם:
This was his offering, in consequence of the vow which he had vowed that he would give a tenth, with their fruit-offerings and their drink-offerings.
ויהי כאכול האש אותם ויקטר עליהם לבונה על האש:
And when the fire had consumed it, he burnt incense on the fire over the fire,
ולקרבן תודה הקריב פרים שניים ואילים ארבעה ושני כבשים בני שנה ועשרה עגלים וארבע צאן ושני גדיי עיזים:
and for a thank-offering two oxen and four rams and four sheep, four he-goats, and two sheep of a year old, and two kids of the goats;
ככה עשה להעלות שבעה ימים ויאכל שם עם כל בניו ואנשיו בשמחה שבעת ימים:
and thus he did daily for seven days.
And he and all his sons and his men were eating (this) with joy there during seven days
ויברך ויודה שם לה אשר הציל אותו מכל רעה ויעש לו את נדרו:
and blessing and thanking the Lord, who had delivered him out of all his tribulation and had given him his vow.
ויעשר מכל בהמה טהורה ויעש אישה ואת הבהמה אשר איננה טהורה נתן אל לוי בנו ואת נפש האדם נתן לו:
And he tithed all the clean animals, and made a burnt sacrifice, but the unclean animals he gave (not) to Levi his son, and he gave him all the souls of the men
ויכהן לוי בבית אל לפני יעקב אביו ביתר שאת על עשרת אחיו ויהי שם לכהן:
And Levi discharged the priestly office at Bethel before Jacob his father in preference to his ten brothers, and he was a priest there,
ויתן לו יעקב את נדרו ויתן גם את המעשר השני לה ויקדש אותו ויהי לו קודש:
and Jacob gave his vow: thus he tithed again the tithe to the Lord and sanctified it, and it became holy unto Him.
ועל כן נועד לחוק בשמים לתת את המעשר השני לאכול אותו לפני ה' במקום הנבחר לשכן שמו שם שנה בשנה:
And for this reason it is ordained on the heavenly tables as a law for the tithing again the tithe to eat before the Lord from year to year,
ולחוק הזה אין קץ הימין לעולם כתובה החוקה ההיא לעשות אותה שנה שנה לאכול את המעשר השני לפני ה' במקום הנבחר:
in the place where it is chosen that His name should dwell, and to this law there is no limit of days for ever.
This ordinance is written that it may be fulfilled from year to year in eating the second tithe before the Lord in the place where it hath been chosen,
ולא יוותר ממנו מאומה משנה הזאת עד השנה השנית כי אם בשנתו יאכל הזרע עד תשובת השנה מימי בכורי השנה תבואת הזרע התירוש והיצהר עד שוב הימים האלה:
and nothing shall remain over from it from this year to the year following.
For in its year shall the seed be eaten till the days of the gathering of the seed of the year, and the wine till the days of the wine, and the oil till the days of its season.
וכל הנותר ממנו ישן הוא פיגול יהיה ובאש ישרף כי טמא הוא:
And all that is left thereof and becometh old, let it be regarded as polluted: let it be burnt with fire, for it is unclean.
וככה יאכלוהו יחדיו בבית הקודש ולא יהיה ישן נושן:
And thus let them eat it together in the sanctuary, and let them not suffer it to become old.
וכל מעשר הבקר והצאן קודש לה ולכהניו יהיו לאכול לפניו מימים ימימה כי כן נועד על המעשר וחרות על לוחות השמים:
And all the tithes of the oxen and sheep shall be holy unto the Lord, and shall belong to His priests, which they will eat before Him from year to year; for thus is it ordained and engraven regarding the tithe on the heavenly tables.
ובלילה השני בשנים ועשרים לחודש הזה הואיל יעקב לבנות את המקום ההוא ולהקיף את הגן חומה ולחנוך אותו ולהקדישהו לעולם לו ולבניו אחריו עד עולם:
And on the following night, on the twenty-second day of this month, Jacob resolved to build that place, and to surround the court with a wall, and to sanctify it and make it holy for ever, for himself and his children after him.
וירא אליו אלוהים בלילה ויברך אותו ויאמר לו לא יקרא שמך עוד יעקב כי אם ישראל יהיה שמך:
And the Lord appeared to him by night and blessed him and said unto him: "Thy name shall not be called Jacob, but Israel shall they name thy name."
ויאמר לו עוד אנכי ה' אלוהיך קונה שמים וארץ והפריתי אותך והרביתיך במאוד מאוד ומלכים מחלציך יצאו וירדו בכל ובכל מקום מדרך כף רגל אנוש:
And He said unto him again: "I am the Lord who created the heaven and the earth, and I shall increase thee and multiply thee exceedingly, and kings will come forth from thee, and they will judge everywhere wherever the foot of the sons of men hath trodden.
ונתתי לזרעך את כל הארץ אשר תחת השמים ורדו כאוות נפשם בכל העמים ובכן ימשכו ויקחו להם את כל הארץ וירשו אותה לעולם:
Ana I shall give to thy seed all the earth which is under heaven, and they will judge all the nations according to their desires, and after that they will get possession of the whole earth and inherit it for ever."
ויכל לדבר איתו ויעל מעליו ויבט יעקב אחריו עד אשר עלה השמימה:
And He finished speaking with him, and He went up from him, and Jacob looked till He had ascended into heaven.
וירא במראה הלילה והנה מלאך יורד מן השמים ושבעה לוחות בידיו ויתן אותם אל יעקב ויקרא בהם ויקרא את כל הכתוב עליהם את אשר יקרה לו ולבניו לדורות עולם:
And he saw in a vision of the night, and behold an angel descended from heaven with seven tablets in his hands, and he gave them to Jacob, and he read them and knew all that was written therein which would befall him and his sons through-out all the ages.
ויראהו את כל הכתוב על הלוחות ויאמר אליו לא תבנה את המקום הזה ולא תעשה מקדש עולמים ולא ישכון פה כי לא זה המקום:
And he showed him all that was written on the tablets, and said unto him: "Do not build this place, and do not make it an eternal sanctuary, and do not dwell here; for this is not the place.
לך לך אל בית אברהם אביך ושבה בבית יצחק אביך עד יום מות אביך:
Go to the house of Abraham thy father and dwell with Isaac thy father until the day of the death of thy father.
כי במצרים תמות בשלום ובארץ הזאת תקבר בכבוד בקברות אבותיך אל אברהם ויצחק:
For in Egypt thou wilt die in peace, and in this land thou wilt be buried with honour in the sepulchre of thy fathers, with Abraham and Isaac.
אל תירא כי כאשר ראית וקראת כן יהיה הכל וכתוב את כל אשר ראית וקראת:
Fear not, for as thou hast seen and read it, thus will. it all be; and do thou write down everything as thou hast seen and read."
ויאמר יעקב איך אזכור את כל אשר ראיתי וקראתי? ויאמר אליו הזכר אזכיר לך את כל ויעל מעליו:
And Jacob said: "Lord, how can I remember all that I have read and seen?" And he said unto him: "I will bring all things to thy remembrance."
וייקץ משנתו ויזכור את כל אשר קרא וראה ויכתוב את כל הדברים אשר קרא וראה:
And he went up from him, and he awoke from his sleep, and he remembered everything which he had read and seen, and he wrote down all the words which he had read and seen.
ויעצר שם עוד יום אחד ויזבח בו כימים הראשונים ויקרא לו עצרת:
And he celebrated there yet another day, and he sacrificed thereon according to all that he sacrificed on the former days, and called its name "Addition,"
כי היום ההוא עצרת היה ולימים הראשונים קרא חג וככה נראה לו להעשות ונכתב על לוחות השמים:
for this day was added, and the former days he called "The Feast."
And thus it was manifested that it should be, and it is written on the heavenly tables:
ולכן צווה לעשות אותו ולהוסיף אותו על שבעת ימי החג ויקרא שמו עצרת כי הוא יעצור (ישלים) ימי החג על פי מספר ימי השנה:
wherefore it was revealed to him that he should celebrate it, and add it to the seven days of the feast.
And its name was called "Addition," because that it was recorded amongst the days of the feast days, according to the number of the days of the year.
ובליל עשרים ושלושה לחודש הזה מתה דבורה מינקת רבקה ויקברו אותה מתחת לעיר תחת אלון הנחל וקרא שם הנחל ההוא נחל דבורה ושם האלון אלון בכות אשר לדבורה:
And in the night, on the twenty-third of this month, Deborah Rebecca's nurse died, and they buried her beneath the city under the oak of the river, and he called the name of this place, "The river of Deborah," and the oak, "The oak of the mourning of Deborah."
ותלך רבקה ותשב הביתה אל יצחק אביו וישלח לו יעקב בידה איל ועגלים וכבשים לעשות לאביו מטעמים כאשר אהב:
And Rebecca went and returned to her house to his father Isaac, and Jacob sent by her hand rams and sheep and he-goats that she should prepare a meal for his father such as he desired.
ואחר שילוחי אימו נסע הלאה עד בואו אל הארץ כברת וישב שם:
And he went after his mother till he came to the land of Kabrâtân, and he dwelt there.
ותלד רחל בן ותקרא שמו בן אוני בהקשותה בלידתה ואביו קרא לו בנימין בעשירי לחודש השמיני בשנה הראשונה לשבוע השישי ליובל ההוא:
And Rachel bare a son in the night, and called his name "Son of my sorrow"; for she suffered in giving him birth: but his father called his name Benjamin, on the eleventh of the eighth month in the first of the sixth week of this jubilee.
ותמת רחל שם ותיקבר בארץ אפרתה היא בית לחם:
And Rachel died there and she was buried in the land of Ephrath, the same is Bethlehem,
ויבן יעקב על קבורת רחל מצבה בדרך על קבורתה:
and Jacob built a pillar on the grave of Rachel, on the road above her grave.
