Yobelim/Jubilés Chapitre 22
1 Et cela arriva dans la 2e année de la 1e semaine du 43e jubilé, qui est l’année où Abraham mourut, Isaac et Ishmaël allèrent vers Abraham leur père à partir du puits du serment pour célébrer la Fête des semaines qui est la Fête des premiers-fruits de la récolte et Abraham se réjouit parce que ses 2 fils étaient venus.
2 Car Isaac avait beaucoup de biens à Beer-sheva et Isaac était habitué d’aller voir ses possessions et de retourner vers son père.
3 Et en ces jours Ishmaël vint voir son père et ils allèrent tous deux ensemble et Isaac offrit un sacrifice en offrande au feu et le présenta sur l’autel que son père avait fait à Hébron et il offrit une offrande de remerciement et fit une fête de joie devant Ishmaël son frère.
4 Et Rébecca fit de nouveaux gâteaux avec le nouveau grain des premiers-fruits de la terre et les donnèrent à Jacob son fils pour les amener à Abraham son père afin qu’il mange et bénisse le Créateur de toutes choses avant qu’il meure.
5 Et une meilleure offrande de remerciement pour Isaac aussi, envoyée par la main de Jacob à Abraham afin qu’il mange et boive.
6 Et il mangea et but et bénit le Plus-haut Elohim qui a créé le ciel et la terre, qui a fait toutes les choses grasses de la terre et les donna aux enfants des hommes pour qu’ils puissent manger et boire et bénir leur créateur.
7 Et maintenant je te remercie mon Elohim, car tu as fait en sorte que je vois ce jour !
8 Voici, je suis âgé de 175 ans, un homme vieux et plein de jours et tous mes jours ont été de paix pour moi.
9 L’épée de l’adversité n’a pas prévalu sur moi dans tout ce que tu m’as donné, à moi et mes enfants, tous les jours de ma vie jusqu’à ce jour. Mon Elohim !
10 Que ta pitié et ta paix soient sur ton serviteur et sur la semence de ses fils afin qu’ils soient pour toi une nation choisie et un héritage parmi toutes les nations de la terre dès maintenant jusque dans tous les jours des générations de la terre, dans tous les âges.
12 Jacob mon fils, approche-toi et embrasse-moi. Et il s’approcha et l’embrassa et dit : Béni soit mon fil Jacob et tous les fils du Plus-haut Elohim dans tous les âges.
13 Qu'Elohim te donne une semence de juste et qu’Il sanctifie certains de tes fils du milieu de toute la terre.
14 Que des nations te servent et que toutes les nations s’inclinent d’eux-mêmes devant ta semence.
15 Sois fort en présence des hommes et fais autorité sur toute la semence de Seth alors tes voies et les voies de tes fils seront justifiées pour qu’ils deviennent une nation sainte.
16 Que le Plus-haut Elohim te donne toutes les bénédictions avec lesquelles Il m’a béni et avec lesquelles Il a béni Noah et Adam ; qu’elles restent sur la tête sainte de ta semence d’une génération à l’autre pour toujours.
17 Et qu’Il te nettoie de toute injustice et impureté pour que tu puisses être pardonné de toute transgression que tu as commis par ignorance et qu’Il te fortifie et te bénisse et que tu hérites de la terre entière et qu’Il renouvelle son alliance avec toi pour que tu sois une nation pour Lui, pour son héritage dans tous les âges, et qu’Il soit pour toi et pour ta semence un Elohim véritable dans tous les jours de la terre.
19 Sépare-toi des nations et ne mange pas avec eux et n’agis pas selon leurs travaux et ne deviens pas leur associé, car leurs actions sont impures et toutes leurs voies sont une pollution et une abomination et impureté.
20 Ils offrent leurs sacrifices à la mort et ils vénèrent des souffles malveillants et ils mangent sur les tombes et tous leurs travaux sont vanité et néant.
21 Ils n’ont pas de cœur pour comprendre et leurs yeux ne voient pas ce que sont leurs travaux et comment ils errent en disant à un morceau de bois : Tu es mon elohim, et à une pierre : Tu es mon seigneur et tu es mon sauveur. [Et qui n’ont pas de cœur].
22 Mais pour toi Jacob mon fils, que le Plus-haut Elohim t’aide et que l'Elohim du ciel te bénisse et te sépare de leur impureté et de leur erreur.
23 Jacob mon fils, prends garde de prendre une femme d’une semence des filles de Canaan, car toute sa semence sera déracinée de la terre, car Canaan fit erreur à cause de la transgression de Ham, et toute sa semence sera détruite du dessus de la terre et tout le reste avec et aucune progéniture ne sera sauve pour lui au jour du jugement et ainsi pour tous les adorateurs d’idoles et le profane : il n’y aura pas d’espoir de vie pour eux sur la terre et il n’y aura aucun souvenir d’eux sur la terre, car ils descendront au sheol et ils iront dans la place de condamnation comme les enfants de Sodom furent retiré de la terre, ainsi tous ceux qui vénèrent des idoles seront retirés.
24 Jacob mon fils, ne crains pas et ne sois pas effrayé ô fils d’Abraham, que le Plus-haut Elohim te préserve de la destruction et qu’Il te délivre de tous les chemins d’égarement.
25 Cette maison que je me suis construite pour que je puisse y inscrire mon nom sur terre [t’est donnée à toi et ta semence pour toujours] et elle sera nommée la maison d’Abraham.
26 Elle t’est donnée à toi et à ta semence pour toujours, car tu construiras ma maison et établiras mon nom devant Elohim pour toujours.
27 Ta semence et ton nom se maintiendront à travers toutes les générations de la terre.
28 Et il cessa de l’instruire et le bénit. Et les deux étaient allongés sur un lit et Jacob dormit sur la poitrine d’Abraham le père de son père qui l’embrassa 7 fois et son affection et son cœur se réjouirent en lui.
29 Et il le bénit de tout son cœur et dit : Le Plus-haut Elohim, l'Elohim de tout et Créateur de tout, qui m’a amené d’Ur de Chaldée afin qu’Il me donne cette terre pour en hériter à toujours et pour que J’établisse une semence sainte ; Béni est le Plus-haut Elohim à toujours.
30 Et il bénit Jacob et dit : Mon fils en qui je me réjouis de tout mon cœur et toute mon affection ; que ta grâce et ta pitié soient toujours étendues sur lui et sur sa semence.
31 Ne l’abandonne pas, ne le réduit pas à rien dès maintenant jusqu’aux jours d’éternité et que tes yeux soient ouverts sur lui et sur sa semence afin que tu le préserves et le bénisses et que tu puisses le sanctifier comme une nation pour ton héritage.
32 Et bénis-le de toutes tes bénédictions dès maintenant jusqu’aux jours d’éternité et renouvelle ton alliance et ta grâce avec lui et avec sa semence suivant tout ton bon plaisir jusqu’à toutes les générations de la terre.
ויהי בשבוע הראשון ליובל השלושה וארבעים בשנה השנית היא השנה אשר מת בה אברהם ויבואו יצחק וישמעאל מבאר שבע לעשות את חג שבעת הימים הוא חג בכורי הקציר בבית אברהם אביהם:
And it came to pass in the first week in the forty-fourth jubilee, in the second year, that is, the year in which Abraham died, that Isaac and Ishmael came from the Well of the Oath to celebrate the feast of weeks--that is, the feast of the first-fruits of the harvest--to Abraham, their father,
וישמח אברהם כי באו שני בניו:
and Abraham rejoiced because his two sons had come.
כי מקנה רב היה ליצחק בבאר שבע וילך שמה לראות את מקנהו וישב ויבוא אל אביו:
For Isaac had many possessions in Beersheba, and Isaac was wont to go and see his possessions and to return to his father.
ובימים ההם בא גם ישמעאל לראות פני אביו ויבואו שניהם יחדיו:
And in those days Ishmael came to see his father, and they both came together,
ויזבח יצחק קרבן לאשה ויקטירהו על מזבח אביו אשר עשה בחברון ויעל את הקרבן ויעש זבח שלמים לפני ישמעאל אחיו:
and Isaac offered a sacrifice for a burnt-offering, and presented it on the altar of his father which he had made in Hebron.
And he offered a thank-offering and made a feast of joy before Ishmael, his brother:
ורבקה עשתה עוגות חדשות מדגן החדש ותתן ליעקב בנה יקירה להביא אל אברהם אביו מראשית פרי האדמה למען יאכל ויברך את הבורא כל היקום בטרם ימות:
and Rebecca made new cakes from the new grain, and gave them to Jacob, her son, to take them to Abraham, his father, from the first-fruits of the land, that he might eat and bless the Creator of all things before he died.
וגם יצחק שלח ביד יעקב היקיר מנחת תודה לאברהם לאכול ולשתות:
And Isaac, too, sent by the hand of Jacob to Abraham a best thank-offering, that he might eat and drink.
ויאכל וישת ויברך אל עליון קונה שמים וארץ לרוקע כל הארץ ומכין מזון לבני אדם לאכול ולשתות:
And he ate and drank, and blessed the Most High God, Who hath created heaven and earth, Who hath made all the fat things of the earth, And given them to the children of men That they might eat and drink and bless their Creator.
ויברך את בוראו ועתה אודך אלוהי כי הראיתני את היום הזה:
"And now I give thanks unto Thee, my God, because Thou hast caused me to see this day:
הנה אנוכי היום בן מאה ושבעים וחמש שנים זקן ושבע ימים:
behold, I am one hundred three score and fifteen years, an old man and full of days, and all my days have been unto me peace.
וכל ימי משפט שלום חרב שונא לא גברה עלי ובכל אשר נתת לי ולבני כל ימי חיי עד היום הזה:
The sword of the adversary hath not overcome me in all that Thou hast given me and my children all the days of my life until this day.
יהי נא חסדך אלוהי על עבדך ועל זרע בניו להיות לך לעם סגולה ולנחלה מכל עמי הארץ מעתה בכל ימי דורות הארץ עד עולמי עולמים:
My God, may Thy mercy and Thy peace be upon Thy servant, and upon the seed of his sons, that they may be to Thee a chosen nation and an inheritance from amongst all the nations of the earth from henceforth unto all the days of the generations of the earth, unto all the ages."
ויקרא ליעקב ויאמר אליו בני יעקב יברכך אלוהי כל היקום ואמצך לעשות צדקה ורצונו לפניו:
And he called Jacob and said My son Jacob, may the God of all bless thee and strengthen thee to do righteousness, and His will before Him,
ובחר בך ובזרעך להיות לו לעם לנחלתו כרצונו וגשה נא בני יעקב ושקה לי ויגש וישק לו:
and may He choose thee and thy seed that ye may become a people for His inheritance according to His will alway. And do thou, my son, Jacob, draw near and kiss me."
ויאמר ברוכים יהיו יעקב וכל בניו לה אל עליון לעולמי עד יתן לך ה' זרע צדקה מבניך אשר יקדישהו בקרב כל הארץ:
And he drew near and kissed him, and he said: "Blessed be my son Jacob And all the sons of God Most High, unto all the ages: May God give unto thee a seed of righteousness; And some of thy sons may He sanctify in the midst of the whole earth;
יעבדוך וישתחוו לזרעך כל העמים היה גביר לבני אדם:
May nations serve thee, And all the nations bow themselves before thy seed.
ובהיותך בכל כזרע שת יהיו דרכיך ודרכי בניך מישרים להיות עמך קדוש:
Be strong in the presence of men, And exercise authority over all the seed of Seth. Then thy ways and the ways of thy sons will be justified, So that they shall become a holy nation.
אל עליון יתן לך את כל הברכות אשר ברך אותי בהן ואשר ברך את נוח ואת האדם תבאנה לקדקד נזיר זרעך בכל הדורות ועד עולמים:
May the Most High God give thee all the blessings Wherewith he hath blessed me And wherewith He blessed Noah and Adam; May they rest on the sacred head of thy seed from generation to generation for ever.
וה ישימך טהור מכל כתם טמא והיית נשוא כל עון אשר חטאת בשגגה:
And may He cleanse thee from all unrighteousness and impurity, That thou mayest be forgiven all (thy) transgressions; (and) thy sins of ignorance.
ויאמצך ויברכך לרשת את כל הארץ יחדש את בריתו אתך להיותך לו עם נחלתו לעולמי עד:
And may He strengthen thee, And bless thee. And mayest thou inherit the whole earth,
And may He renew His covenant with thee, That thou mayest be to Him a nation for His inheritance for all the ages,
והיה לך לזרעך לאלוהים באמונה ובאמת כל ימי הארץ:
And that He may be to thee and to thy seed a God in truth and righteousness throughout all the days of the earth.
גם זכור תזכור בני יעקב את דברי ושמור את מצות אברהם אביך:
And do thou, my son Jacob, remember my words, And observe the commandments of Abraham, thy father:
הבדל מן העמים ואל תאכל עמהם ואל תעשה כמעשיהם ואל תהי חבר להם כי מעשם טמא וכל דרכיהם מגואלים ותועבה:
Separate thyself from the nations, And eat not with them: And do not according to their works, And become not their associate; For their works are unclean, And all their ways are a pollution and an abomination and uncleanness.
את זבחיהם יזבחו למתים ולשעירים ישתחוו ועל הקברים יאכלו:
They offer their sacrifices to the dead And they worship evil spirits, And they eat over the graves,
אין תבונה בהם לאמור כלבבם ועיניהם השע מראות כי לו חכמו איכה יחטאו לאמור לעץ אלי אתה ולאבן אדוני ומצילי וכל רוח אין בקרבם:
And all their works are vanity and nothingness.
They have no heart to understand And their eyes do not see what their works are, And how they err in saying to a piece of wood: 'Thou art my God,' And to a stone: 'Thou art my Lord and thou art my deliverer.' [And they have no heart.]
ואתה בני יעקב אל עליון יעזרך ואלוהי השמים יברכך וירחיקך מטומאתם ומכל חטאתם:
And as for thee, my son Jacob, May the Most High God help thee And the God of heaven bless thee And remove thee from their uncleanness and from all their error.
השמר לך בני יעקב מקחת לך אשה מכל זרע בנות כנען כי זרעו ניתן להכרת מן הארץ:
Be thou ware, my son Jacob, of taking a wife from any seed of the daughters of Canaan; For all his seed is to be rooted out of the earth.
כי בגלל חטאת חם ובגלל עוון כנען יושמד כל זרעו וכל שאריתו ויתר הפליטה:
For, owing to the transgression of Ham, Canaan erred, And all his seed will be destroyed from off the earth and all the residue thereof, And none springing from him will be saved on the day of judgment.
ותקוות כל עובדי אלילים וכל הולכי בשרירות לבם נכרתה מארץ החיים כי ירדו אל גיא צלמות וישובו לשאולה בלי זכר להם על הארץ:
And as for all the worshippers of idols and the profane (b) There will be no hope for them in the land of the living;
כאשר נכחדו בני סדום מן הארץ כן יכחדו כל עובדי אלילים:
(e) And there will be no remembrance of them on the earth; (c) For they will descend into Sheol,
אל תירא בני יעקב ואל תחרד אל עליון ישמרך משחת ומכל דרך חטאה יצילך:
(d) And into the place of condemnation will they go, As the children of Sodom were taken away from the earth So will all those who worship idols be taken away. Fear not, my son Jacob, And be not dismayed, O son of Abraham: May the Most High God preserve thee from destruction, And from all the paths of error may He deliver thee.
לבנות לי בזה בית בארץ לשום שמי עליו נתן לך ולזרעך עד עולם וייקרא שמו בית אברהם:
This house have I built for myself that I might put my name upon it in the earth: [it is given to thee and to thy seed for ever], and it will be named the house of Abraham;
נתן לך ולזרעך עד עולם כי אתה תבנה ביתי ותקים את שמי לפני אלוהים:
it is given to thee and to thy seed for ever; for thou wilt build my house and establish my name before God for ever:
לנצח נצחים יקום זרעך ושמך בכל דורות הארץ:
thy seed and thy name will stand throughout all generations of the earth."
ויכל לצוות ולברך וישכבו שניהם יחד במטה אחת ויישן יעקב בחיק אברהם אבי אביו:
And he ceased commanding him and blessing him.
And the two lay together on one bed, and Jacob slept in the bosom of Abraham, his father's father
וילבב רוחו שבע פעמים וישיש עליו באהבתו ובלבו ויברכהו בכל לבבו:
and he kissed him seven times, and his affection and his heart rejoiced over him.
And he blessed him with all his heart
ויאמר אל עליון אלוהי כל היקום ובורא הכל אשר הוצאת אותי מאור כשדים לתת לי את הארץ הזאת לרשת אותה עד עולם ולהקים זרע קדוש כי יבורך לעולמים:
and said: "The Most High God, the God of all, and Creator of all, who brought me forth from Ur of the Chaldees, that He might give me this land to inherit it for ever, and that I might establish a holy seed--blessed be the Most High for ever."
ברך נא גם את בני את יעקב אשר אשיש עליו בכל לבבי ובאהבתי:
And he blessed Jacob and said: "My son, over whom with all my heart and my affection I rejoice,
חסדך ורחמיך יבואו עליו ועל שמו לאורך ימים אל תעזבהו ואל תטשהו מעתה ועד עולם:
may Thy grace and Thy mercy be lift up upon him and upon his seed alway.
והיו עיניך פתוחות עליו ועל זרעו לשמור אותו ואתה תברכהו ותקדשהו לעם נחלתך:
And do not forsake him, nor set him at nought from henceforth unto the days of eternity, and may Thine eyes be opened upon him and upon his seed, that Thou mayest preserve him, and bless him, and mayest sanctify him as a nation for Thine inheritance;
ברכהו בכל ברכותיך מעתה ועד כל ימי עולם וחדש את בריתך ואת חסדך עמו ועם זרעו ואת כל רצונך בכל דורות הארץ:
And bless him with all Thy blessings from henceforth unto all the days of eternity, and renew Thy covenant and Thy grace with him and with his seed according to all Thy good pleasure unto all the generations of the earth."
