Yobelim/Jubilés Chapitre 21
1 Et dans la 6e année de la 7e semaine de ce jubilé, Abraham appela son fils Isaac et le commanda en disant : Je deviens vieux et ne connais pas le jour de ma mort et je suis complet de mes jours.
2 Et voici, je suis âgé de 175 ans et à travers tous les jours de ma vie je me suis rappelé de 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) et cherchai de tout mon cœur à faire sa volonté et de marcher droit dans toutes ses voies.
3 Mon âme a haï les idoles, me donnant cœur et souffle pour que je considère d’agir selon la volonté de celui qui me créa.
4 Car Il est le El vivant et Il est Saint et Loyal et Il est Juste par-dessus tout et avec Lui il n’y a pas d’exception de personnes [hommes], ni d’exception de présents, car Elohim est juste et prononce jugement sur tous ceux qui transgressent ses commandements et méprisent son alliance.
5 Et toi aussi mon fils, observe ses commandements et ses ordonnances et ses jugements et ne marche pas d’après les abominations et d’après les images gravées et d’après les images moulées.
6 Ne mange pas le sang d’aucun des animaux ou bétail, ni d’aucun des oiseaux qui volent dans le ciel.
7 Et si tu tues une victime comme un sacrifice acceptable de paix, tue-la et déverse son sang sur l’autel et offre toute la graisse de l’offrande du sacrifice sur l’autel avec de la farine fine et mélange d’huile le sacrifice de viande avec son offrande de boisson ; offre-les ensemble sur l’autel du sacrifice au feu ;
8 c’est une odeur douce devant 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) Et tu offriras la graisse de l’offrande de remerciement sur le feu qui est sur l’autel et la graisse qui est sur le ventre et toute la graisse de l’intérieur et les deux reins et toute la graisse qui est sur eux et sur les longes, et tu ôteras le foie avec les reins ensemble ;
9 offre tout cela comme une odeur douce acceptable devant 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) avec l’offrande de viande et son offrande de boisson comme une odeur douce, le pain de l’offrande pour 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH).
10 Mange sa viande le même jour et le 2e jour, mais le 2e jour ne laisse pas le soleil se coucher sur cela jusqu’à ce qu’il soit mangé, car il n’est pas acceptable [car il n’est pas approuvé] et qu’il ne soit plus mangé et tous ceux qui en mangent amèneront le péché sur eux, car voici, j’ai trouvé cela écrit dans les livres de mes ancêtres et dans les paroles d’Henoc et dans les paroles de Noah.
12 Et comme pour le bois des sacrifices, prends garde de ne pas apporter [d’autres] bois sur l’autel en plus de ceux-là ; cyprès, laurier, amande, sapin, pin, cèdre, genévrier, figue, olive, myrrhe, laurier camphré, aspalathus, et de ces sortes de bois à déposer sur l’autel du sacrifice qui ont été examinées ainsi que leur apparence et ne dépose pas [dessus] tout bois fendillé ou noir [mais] dur et propre, sans défaut d’un son et nouvelle pousse, et ne dépose pas [dessus] un vieux bois [car sa fragrance est sortie], car il n’y a plus de parfum en lui comme avant.
13 À côté de ces sortes de bois, il n’y en a pas d’autres que tu placeras [sur l’autel], car la fragrance est éparse et l’odeur de sa fragrance ne monte pas au ciel. Mon fils, observe cet ordre et fais-le pour que tu puisses être juste dans tous tes faits.
15 Et ne laisse aucune goutte de sang apparente sur toi, ni sur tes vêtements. Sois sur tes gardes mon fils vis-à-vis du sang, sois sur tes gardes à l’extrême - recouvre-le de poussière.
16 Ne mange aucun sang, car c’est l’âme ; ne mange pas de sang quoi qu’il en soit et ne prends pas de présents contre le sang humain de peur qu’il ait été versé impunément, sans jugement, car c’est à cause du sang versé que la terre pèche et la terre ne peut être lavée du sang humain que par le sang de celui qui l’a versé.
17 Alors n’accepte pas de présent ou don contre le sang humain - sang pour sang, pour que tu sois accepté devant 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) le Plus-haut Elohim, car Il est le défenseur du bien et pour que tu sois préservé de toute malveillance et qu’Il te sauve de toute espèce de mort.
19 Attention de peur de marcher dans leurs voies et de fouler leurs chemins et pécher d’un péché de mort devant le Plus-haut Elohim, sinon il [cachera sa Face de toi et] te renverra aux mains de ta transgression et te déracinera de la terre et ta semence du dessous du ciel également, et ton nom et ta semence périront de la terre entière.
20 Détourne-toi de tous leurs faits et de toute leur impureté et observe l’ordonnance du Plus-haut Elohim et fais sa volonté et sois juste dans toutes choses et Il te bénira dans toutes tes actions et Il élèvera par toi un plant de justice à travers la terre entière, à travers toutes les générations de la terre et mon nom et ton nom ne seront pas oubliés sous le ciel à jamais.
21 Va en paix mon fils ! Que le Plus-haut Elohim, mon Elohim et ton Elohim, te fortifie pour faire sa volonté et qu’Il bénisse toute ta semence et le reste de ta semence des justes bénédictions afin que tu sois une bénédiction sur toute la terre dans les générations à toujours. Et il le quitta en se réjouissant.
ובשנה השישית לשבוע השביעי ליובל ההוא קרא אברהם אל יצחק בנו ויצוהו לאמור:
And in the sixth year of the seventh week of this jubilee Abraham called Isaac his son, and commanded him, saying:
הנה נא זקנתי לא ידעתי יום מותי כי שבע ימים אנוכי:
"I am become old, and. know not the day of my death, and am full of my days.
והנני בן מאה שנה ושבעים שנה וחמש שנים ובכל ימי חיי זכרתי את ה' ובקשתי בכל לבבי לעשות רצון אלוהי ולהתהלך בתומי בכל דרכיו:
And behold, I am one hundred and seventy-five years old, and throughout all the days of my life I have remembered the Lord, and sought with all my heart to do His will, and to walk uprightly in all His ways.
אלילים שנאה נפשי למען שתי את לבי לעשות חפץ בוראי כי אלוהים חיים הוא וקדוש ונאמן וצדיק בכל ואין עול בו לא ישא פנים ולא יקח שוחד:
My soul hath hated idols, (and I have despised those that served them, and I have given my heart and spirit) that I might observe to do the will of Him who created me.
כי אלוהי צדק הוא פוקד עוון כל העוברים על מצוותיו והמפירים את בריתו:
For He is the living God, and He is holy and faithful, and He is righteous beyond all, and there is with Him no accepting of (men's) persons and no accepting of gifts; for God is righteous, and executeth judgment on all those who transgress His commandments and despise His covenant.
וגם אתה בני שמור מצוותיו חוקתו ומשפטו ואל תלכו אחרי הטמאים והפסילים והמסכות ואל תאכלו דם מחיה ועד בהמה ועד צפור כל כנף אשר יעופף בשמים:
And do thou, my son, observe His commandments and His ordinances and His judgments, and walk not after the abominations and after the graven images and after the molten images.
And eat no blood at all of animals or cattle, or of any bird which flieth in the heaven.
וכי תשחט זבח שלמים לרצונו תזבחהו שחטהו ואת דמו שפוך על המזבח עם סולת ומנחה בלולה בשמן על נסכים:
And if thou dost slay a victim as an acceptable peace-offering, slay ye it, and pour out its blood upon the altar, and all the fat of the offering offer on the altar with fine flour (and the meat-offering) mingled with oil, with its drink-offering
הקריבה את הכל יחד על מזבח העולה לריח ניחוח לה:
--offer them all together on the altar of burnt-offering; it is a sweet savour before the Lord.
כחלב זבח התודה תקטיר אותם על אש המזבח החלב המכסה את הקרב ואת כל החלב אשר על הקרב:
And thou wilt offer the fat of the sacrifice of thank-offerings on the fire which is upon the altar, and the fat which is on the belly, and all the fat on the inwards
ואת שתי הכליות ואת כל החלב אשר עליהן ואשר על הכסלים ואת הכבד על הכליות הכרוכות בו:
and the two kidneys, and all the fat that is upon them, and upon the loins and liver thou shalt remove together with the kidneys.
והקרבת את הכל לריח ניחוח לרצון לפני ה' על מנחתם ונסכיהם כמשפט לריח ניחוח לחם אשה לה:
And offer all these for a sweet savour acceptable before the Lord, with its meat-offering and with its drink-offering, for a sweet savour, the bread of the offering unto the Lord,
אך את הבשר תאכל ביום קרבנו וממחרת ולא תבוא עליו השמש ביום השני בטרם יאכל:
And eat its meat on that day and on the second day, and let not the sun on the second day go down upon it till it is eaten,
ולא יניח ממנו עד היום השלישי כי לא לרצון הוא פיגול יהיה ולא יאכל עוד:
and let nothing be left over for the third day; for it is not acceptable [for it is not approved] and let it no longer be eaten,
כל האוכלים ממנו עוונם ישאו כי כן מצאתי כתוב בספר אבותי הראשונים בדברי חנוך ונח:
and all who eat thereof will bring sin upon themselves; for thus I have found it written in the books of my forefathers, and in the words of Enoch, and in the words of Noah.
על קרבן מנחותיך תקריב מלח ולא תשבית ברית מלח מעל כל מנחותיך לפני ה':
And on all thy oblations thou shalt strew salt, and let not the salt of the covenant be lacking in all thy oblations before the Lord.
ובעצי העולה תשמר מקחת עצים אחרים לעולה מלבד עצי שקמה ועצי טשים ומקל שקד וגופר (כופר) ואלון וארז וברוש ואתרוג ועץ שמן והדס ודפנא וארז ערבה ובושם:
And as regards the wood of the sacrifices, beware lest thou bring (other) wood for the altar in addition to these: cypress, dêfrân, sagâd, pine, fir, cedar, savin, palm, olive, myrrh, laurel, and citron, juniper, and balsam.
מאת מיני עץ האלה תערוך תחת האש על המזבח אחרי אשר בחנת מראהו ולא תשים עליו כל עץ נבקע ושחור מראה:
And of these kinds of wood lay upon the altar under the sacrifice, such as have been tested as to their appearance, and do not lay (thereon) any split or dark wood,
עץ קשה ותמים דשן ורענן יהיה ולא עץ יבש כי ריחו נמר ולא עמד טעמו בו:
(but) hard and clean, without fault, a sound and new growth; and do not lay (thereon) old wood, [for its fragrance is gone] for there is no longer fragrance in it as before.
מלבד העצים האלה לא תשים עץ אחר כי אין ריח בו והעלית ריח ניחוחו השמימה:
Besides these kinds of wood there is none other that thou shalt place (on the altar), for the fragrance is dispersed, and the smell of its fragrance goeth not up to heaven.
שמור בני את המצוה הזאת לעשותה למען תעשה הישר בכל משלח ידך:
Observe this commandment and do it, my son, that thou mayst be upright in all thy deeds.
בכל עת יהיה בשרך טהור ורחצת במים בטרם תגש להקריב על המזבח ורחצת ידים ורגלים בטרם תקרב אל המזבח:
And at all times be clean in thy body, and wash thyself with water before thou approachest to offer on the altar, and wash thy hands and thy feet before thou drawest near to the altar;
והיה ככלותך להקריב את האשה תרחץ שנית ידיך ורגליך ולא יראה כתם דם בכם ובבגדיכם:
and when thou art done sacrificing, wash again thy hands and thy feet.
And let no blood appear upon you nor upon your clothes;
השמר מאוד בני השמר מאוד בדם קבור תקברנו בארץ ולא תאכל דם כי הוא הנפש לא תאכל כל דם:
be on thy guard, my son, against blood, be on thy guard exceedingly; cover it with dust.
And do not eat any blood, for it is the soul; eat no blood whatever.
ולא תקח כופר על דם אדם לבל ינקה שופכו חינם כי הדם הזה הנשפך יחניף את הארץ ולא תטהר מן הדם כי אם בדם שופכו:
And take no gifts for the blood of man, lest it be shed with impunity, without judgment; for it is the blood that is shed that causeth the earth to sin, and the earth cannot be cleansed from the blood of man save by the blood of him who shed it.
ולא תקח כופר ושוחד לדם אדם דם תחת דם:
And take no present or gift for the blood of man: blood for blood,
ונרציתם לפני ה' אל עליון ושמר לך את הטוב למען תנצר מכל רע ולמען יצילך מכל מות:
that thou mayest be accepted before the Lord, the Most High God; for He is the defence of the good: and that thou mayest be preserved from all evil, and that He may save thee from every kind of death.
ראה אראה בני את כל מעללי בני אדם והנם חטא ורע וכל מעשיהם טמא ומרי וקרי ואין צדקה בהם:
I see, my son, That all the works of the children of men are sin and wickedness, And all their deeds are uncleanness and an abomination and a pollution, And there is no righteousness with them.
השמר לך אל תלך בדרכיהם מנע רגלך מנתיבתם ואל תחטא בנפשך לפני אל עליון:
Beware, lest thou shouldest walk in their ways And tread in their paths, And sin a sin unto death before the Most High God.
פן יסתיר פניו ממך ושלח אותך ביד פשעך והכרית אותך מן הארץ וזרעך ימחה מתחת השמים ואבד שמך וזרעך מכל הארץ:
Else He will [hide His face from thee, And] give thee back into the hands of thy transgression, And root thee out of the land, and thy seed likewise from under heaven, And thy name and thy seed will perish from the whole earth.
רחק מכל עלילותיהם ומכל טומאתם ושמרתם את משמרת אל עליון ועשה רצונו הטוב והישר בכל:
Turn away from all their deeds and all their uncleanness, And observe the ordinance of the Most High God, And do His will and be upright in all things.
וברכך בכל מעשה ידיך והצמיח ממך צמח צדקה על כל הארץ לכל דורות הארץ:
And He will bless thee in all thy deeds, And will raise up from thee the plant of righteousness through all the earth, throughout all generations of the earth,
וידעו את שמי ואת שמך תחת השמים כל הימים:
And my name and thy name will not be forgotten under heaven for ever.
לך בני לשלום יחזקך אל עליון אלוהי ואלוהיך לעשות את רצונו:
Go, my son, in peace. May the Most High God, my God and thy God, strengthen thee to do His will,
יברך את כל זרעך ושארית זרעך לדורות עולמים בכל ברכת הצדקה והיית ברכה בקרב כל הארץ ויצא מלפניו בלב שמח:
And may He bless all thy seed and the residue of thy seed for the generations for ever, with all righteous blessings, That thou mayest be a blessing on all the earth."
And he went out from him rejoicing.
