1 Dans le 3e mois de la 5e année de la 4e semaine de ce jubilé, au milieu du mois, Abram célébra la Fête des premiers-fruits de la récolte de grain et il offrit de nouvelles offrandes sur l’autel à 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH), le produit des premiers-fruits, une génisse et une chèvre sur l’autel comme un sacrifice brûlé pour 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) leurs offrandes de fruit et leurs offrandes de boisson, il offrit sur l’autel avec de l’encens.
2 Et 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) apparut à Abram et lui dit : Je suis Elohim Tout-puissant, accorde-toi avec Moi et sois parfait et Je ferai mon alliance entre Moi et toi et Je te multiplierai extrêmement.
3 Et Abram tomba sur sa face et Elohim parla avec lui et dit : Voici mon ordonnance est avec toi et tu seras le père de plusieurs nations.
4 Plus jamais ton nom sera appelé Abram mais ton nom sera Abraham à partir de maintenant et même pour toujours, car Je t’ai fait le père de plusieurs nations.
5 Et je te ferai très grand et Je ferai de toi des nations et des rois sortiront de toi, et J’établirai mon alliance entre Moi et toi et ta semence après toi à travers leurs générations comme alliance éternelle afin que je sois un Elohim pour toi et pour ta semence après toi dans le pays où tu as été un habitant, le pays de Canaan, que tu puisses le posséder à toujours et je serai leur Elohim.
3 Et Abram tomba sur sa face et Elohim parla avec lui et dit : Voici mon ordonnance est avec toi et tu seras le père de plusieurs nations.
4 Plus jamais ton nom sera appelé Abram mais ton nom sera Abraham à partir de maintenant et même pour toujours, car Je t’ai fait le père de plusieurs nations.
5 Et je te ferai très grand et Je ferai de toi des nations et des rois sortiront de toi, et J’établirai mon alliance entre Moi et toi et ta semence après toi à travers leurs générations comme alliance éternelle afin que je sois un Elohim pour toi et pour ta semence après toi dans le pays où tu as été un habitant, le pays de Canaan, que tu puisses le posséder à toujours et je serai leur Elohim.
6 Et 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) dit à Abraham : Comme pour toi, garde mon alliance, toi et ta semence après toi et circoncis tout mâle parmi vous et circoncisez vos prépuces et cela sera un signe d’une éternelle alliance entre Moi et toi ; l’enfant de 8 jours sera circoncis et tout mâle à travers vos générations, celui qui est né dans ta maison ou celui que tu as acheté d’un étranger contre de l’argent, celui que tu as acquis qui n’est pas de ta semence.
7 Celui qui est né dans ta maison sera certainement circoncis et ceux que tu as achetés contre de l’argent seront circoncis et mon alliance sera dans votre chair comme une ordonnance éternelle.
8 Et le mâle incirconcis qui n’est pas circoncis dans la chair de son prépuce au 8e jour, cette âme sera retranchée de son peuple, car il aura rompu mon alliance.
9 Et Elohim dit à Abraham : Comme pour Saraї ta femme, son nom ne sera plus appelé Saraї mais son nom sera Sarah.
10 Et Je la bénirai et te donnerai un fils par elle et Je le bénirai et il deviendra une nation et des rois de nations sortiront de lui.
11 Et Abraham tomba sur sa face et se réjouit et se dit dans son cœur : Un fils peut-il naître de celui qui a 100 ans et Sarah qui a 90 ans peut-elle enfanter ?
12 Et Abraham dit à Elohim : Qu’Ishmaël vive devant toi ! Et Elohim dit : Oui et Sarah aussi te portera un fils et tu appelleras son nom Isaac et J’établirai mon alliance avec lui et avec sa semence après lui comme une alliance éternelle.
13 Et pour Ishmaël je t’ai aussi entendu et voici, Je le bénirai et le rendrai grand et le multiplierai extrêmement et il produira 12 princes et je ferai de lui une grande nation.
14 Mais J’établis mon alliance avec Isaac que Sarah te portera l’année prochaine dans ces jours. Et il cessa de parler avec lui et Elohim quitta Abraham.

15 Et Abraham fit comme Elohim lui dit et il prit Ishmaël son fils et tous ceux qui étaient nés dans sa maison et qu’il acquit contre de l’argent, tout mâle de sa maison, et circoncit la chair de leur prépuce.
16 Et dans le même jour Abraham fut circoncis et tous les hommes de sa maison et tous ceux qu’il avait achetés contre de l’argent aux enfants de l’étranger, furent circoncis avec lui.
17 Cette loi est pour toutes les générations à toujours et il n’y a pas de circoncision en dehors de ces jours et ni d’omission d’un jour mais selon les 8 jours, car c’est une ordonnance éternelle ordonnée et écrite sur les tablettes du ciel.
18 Et chaque être qui naît, la chair de celui dont le prépuce n’est pas circoncis au 8e jour ne fait pas partie des enfants de l’alliance que 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) fit avec Abraham, mais des enfants de destruction, n’y-a-t-il aucun signe sur lui qu’il appartient à Elohim, alors [il est destiné] à être détruit et éliminé de la terre et d’être déraciné de la terre, car il aura rompu l’alliance de 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) notre Elohim.
19 Car tous les Anges de la Présence et tous les Anges de souffle de feu ont ainsi été créé au jour de leur création, et Il a sanctifié Israël devant les Anges de la Présence et les Anges de souffle de feu pour qu’ils soient près de lui et près de ses saints Anges.
20 Et toi commande aux enfants d’Israël et qu’ils observent le signe de son alliance comme une ordonnance éternelle pour leurs descendants et ils ne seront pas déracinés du pays.
21 Car le commandement est ordonné comme une alliance afin qu’ils l’observent à toujours parmi les enfants d’Israël.
22 Pour Ishmaël et ses fils et ses frères et Esau, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) ne leur permit pas de s’approcher de Lui et Il ne les choisit pas, car Il sait qu’ils sont les enfants d’Abraham mais Il choisit Israël pour être son peuple.
23 Et Il le sanctifia et le rassembla parmi les enfants des hommes, car il y a beaucoup de nations et beaucoup de peuples, et ils sont à Lui et sur tous il plaça des souffles autorisés de les écarter de Lui.
24 Mais sur Israël il n’appointa aucun ange ou souffle, car Lui Seul est leur directeur et il les préservera, et les requerra de la main de ses anges et de ses souffles et de la main de tous ses pouvoirs afin qu’Il puisse les préserver et les bénir et qu’ils puissent être à Lui et qu’Il puisse être à eux à partir de maintenant et à toujours.
25 Et maintenant Je te déclare que les enfants d’Israël ne garderont pas cette ordonnance véritablement et qu’ils ne circonciront pas leurs fils suivant cette loi entière mais manqueront cette circoncision de leurs fils, leur circoncision dans la chair, et eux tous, fils de Beliar, laisseront leurs fils incirconcis quand ils seront nés.
26 Et il y aura une grande colère de 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) contre les enfants d’Israël parce qu’ils auront abandonné son alliance et se seront détournés de sa parole et auront provoqué et blasphémé en autant qu’ils n’observent pas l’ordonnance de cette loi, car ils auront traité leurs familles comme les nations afin qu’ils puissent être retirés et déracinés du pays.
27 Et il n’y aura plus aucun pardon ou excuse pour eux [afin qu’ils puisse y avoir le pardon ou l'excuse] pour tout le péché de cette erreur éternelle.

ובשנה החמישית לשבוע הרביעי ליובל ההוא בחודש השלישי בחצי החודש עשה אברם חג בכורי הקציר:
And in the fifth year of the fourth week of this jubilee, in the third month, in the middle of the month, Abram celebrated the feast of the first-fruits of the grain harvest.
ויקרב מנחה חדשה לה ועל הקרבנות מראשית התבואה עשה לעולה לה פר בן בקר אחד ואיל אחד וכבש אחד על המזבח ולבונה:
And he offered new offerings on the altar, the first-fruits of the produce, unto the Lord, an heifer and a goat and a sheep on the altar as a burnt sacrifice unto the Lord; their fruit-offerings and their drink-offerings he offered upon the altar with frankincense.
וירא ה' אל אברם ויאמר אליו אני האל המושל היה רצוי לפני ותמים:
And the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him: "I am God Almighty; approve thyself before Me and be thou perfect. And I will make My covenant between
ואתנה ברית ביני ובינך וארבה אותך מאוד:
Me and thee, and I will multiply thee exceedingly."
ויפול אברם על פניו וידבר אתו אלהים לאמור:
And on that day we made a covenant with Abram, according as we had covenanted with Noah in this month;
הנה בריתי אתך ונתתיך לאב המון גוים:
"Behold My ordinance is with thee, And thou wilt be the father of many nations.
ולא יקרא עוד את שמך אברם מעתה ועד עולם כי אם אברהם כי אב המון גוים נתתיך:
Neither will thy name any more be called Abram, But thy name from henceforth, even for ever, shall be Abraham. For the father of many nations have I made thee.
וארבה אותך במאוד ונתתיך לגוים ומלכים ממך יצאו:
And I shall make thee very great, And I shall make thee into nations, And kings will come forth from thee.
והקמתי את בריתי בינך וביני ובין זרעך אחריך לדורותם לחוק עולם להיות לך לאלהים ולזרעך אחריך לדורותם:
And I shall establish My covenant between Me and thee, and thy seed after thee, throughout their generations, for an eternal covenant, so that I may be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
ונתתי לך ולזרעך אחריך את הארץ אשר אתה גר בה את ארץ כנען להיות לאדון לה עד עולם והייתי להם לאלהים:
(And I shall give to thee and to thy seed after thee) the land where thou hast been a sojourner, the land of Canaan, that thou mayst possess it for ever, and I shall be their God."
ויאמר אלהים אל אברהם ואתה את בריתי תשמור אתה וזרעך אחריך:
And the Lord said unto Abraham: "And as for thee, do thou keep My Covenant, thou and thy seed after thee,
ונמלתם את כל בשר ערלתכם והיה לאות חוקת עולם לי ביני וביניך ולדורות:
and circumcise ye every male among you, and circumcise your foreskins, and it will be a token of an eternal covenant between Me and you.
ביום השמיני ימול לכם כל זכר לדורותיכם יליד בית ומקנת זהב מכל בני הנכרים אשר רכשתם:
And the child on the eighth day ye will circumcise, every male throughout your generations, him that is born in the house, or whom ye have bought with money from any stranger, whom ye have acquired
אשר מזרעך הוא המול ימול יליד בית ומקנת זהב ימולו והיתה בריתי בבשרכם לחוק עולם:
who is not of thy seed.
He that is born in thy house will surely be circumcised, and those whom thou hast bought with money will be circumcised, and My covenant will be in your flesh for an eternal ordinance.
He that is born in thy house will surely be circumcised, and those whom thou hast bought with money will be circumcised, and My covenant will be in your flesh for an eternal ordinance.
וערל זכר בכם אשר לא ימול את בשר ערלתו ביום השמיני ונכרתה הנפש ההיא מעמיה כי את הברית הפירה:
And the uncircumcised male who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin on the eighth day, that soul will be cut off from his people, for he hath broken My covenant."
ויאמר אלהים אל אברהם שרי אשתך לא יקרא עוד את שמה שרי כי שרה שמה:
And God said unto Abraham: "As for Sarai thy wife, her name will no more be called Sarai, but Sarah will be her name.
וברכתי אותה ונתתי לך ממנה בן וברכתיו והיה לגוי ומלכי עמים ממנו יצאו:
And I shall bless her, and give thee a son by her, and I shall bless him, and he will become a nation, and kings of nations will proceed from him."
ויפול אברהם על פניו וישמח ויאמר בלבו הלבן מאה שנה יולד ואם שרה הבת תשעים שנה תלד בן:
And Abraham fell on his face, and rejoiced, and said in his heart: "Shall a son be born to him that is a hundred years old, and shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bring forth?"
ויאמר אברהם אל האלהים לו ישמעאל יחיה לפניך:
And Abraham said unto God: "O that Ishmael might live before thee!"
ויאמר אלהים כן הוא אבל גם שרה תלד לך בן וקראת את שמו יצחק והקמותי את בריתי אתו לברית עולם ולזרעו אחריו:
And God said: "Yea, and Sarah also will bear thee a son, and thou wilt call his name Isaac, and I shall establish My covenant with him, an everlasting covenant, and for his seed after him.
וגם לישמעאל שמעתיך והנה ברכתי אתו והפריתי אותו והרביתי אותו במאוד ושנים עשר נשיאים יוליד ונתתיו לגוי גדול:
And as for Ishmael also have I heard thee, and behold I shall bless him, and make him great, and multiply him exceedingly, and he will beget twelve princes, and I shall make him a great nation.
ואת בריתי אקים את יצחק אשר תלד לך שרה למועד הזה בשנה האחרת:
But My covenant shall I establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to thee, in these days, in the next year."
ויכל לדבר אתו ויעל אלהים:
And He left off speaking with him, and God went up from Abraham.
ויקח אברהם את ישמעאל בנו ואת כל ילידי ביתו ואת מקנת זהבו כל זכר אשר היה בביתו וימול את בשר ערלתם:
And Abraham did according as God had said unto him, and he took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and whom he had bought with his money, every male in his house, and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin.
וביום הזה נמול אברהם ואנשי ביתו נמולו וכל מקנת זהבו מאת בני הנכרים נמולו אתו:
And on the selfsame day was Abraham circumcised, and all the men of his house, (and those born in the house), and all those, whom he had bought with money from the children of the stranger, were circumcised with him.
והחוק הזה הוא לכל הדורות עד עולם:
This law is for all the generations for ever,
ואין לשנות את הימים ולא לעבור על יום אחד משמונת הימים כי ברכת עולם היא חרותה וכתובה על לוחות השמים:
and there is no circumcision of the days, and no omission of one day out of the eight days; for it is an eternal ordinance, ordained and written on the heavenly tables.
וכל נולד אשר לא ימול בשר ערלתו עד היום השמיני איננו מבני הברית אשר כרת אלהים את אברהם כי אם לבני שחת הוא:
And every one that is born, the flesh of whose foreskin is not circumcised on the eighth day, belongeth not to the children of the covenant which the Lord made with Abraham, but to the children of destruction;
ומבלתי אות בבשרו כי לאלהים הוא אחת דתו להשחת ולהשמד ולהכרת מן הארץ כי את ברית ה' אלהינו הפר:
nor is there, moreover, any sign on him that he is the Lord's, but (he is destined) to be destroyed and slain from the earth, and to be rooted out of the earth, for he hath broken the covenant of the Lord our God.
כי את ישראל קידש להיות ככל מלאכי פניו וככל מלאכי הקדושה ובמלאכיו הקדושים:
For all the angels of the presence and all the angels of sanctification have been so created from the day of their creation, and before the angels of the presence and the angels of sanctification He hath sanctified Israel, that they should be with Him and with His holy angels.
וגם אתה צו את בני ישראל לשמור אות הברית הזאת לדורותיהם לחוקת עולם ולא יכרתו מן הארץ:
And do thou command the children of Israel and let them observe the sign of this covenant for their generations as an eternal ordinance, and they will not be rooted out of the land.
כי החוקה ערוכה לברית לשמור אותה לעולם בכל בני ישראל:
For the command is ordained for a covenant, that they should observe it for ever among all the children of Israel.
כי את ישמעאל ובניו ואחיו ואת עשו לא הקריב ה' אליו ולא בחר בם:
For Ishmael and his sons and his brothers and Esau, the Lord did not cause to approach Him, and he chose them not because they are the children of Abraham, because He knew them, but He chose Israel to be His people.
רק את בני אברהם ידע ובחר בישראל להיות לו לעם ויקדשהו ויאספהו מכל בני האדם:
And He sanctified it, and gathered it from amongst all the children of men ;
הן רבים הם העמים ועצומים מתי חלד וכולם לו המה ועל כולם המשיל רוחות להתעות אותם מאחריו:
for there are many nations and many peoples, and all are His, and over all hath He placed spirits in authority to lead them astray from Him.
ועל ישראל לא המשיל לא מלאך ולא רוח כי הוא לבדו מושלם והוא נוצרם והוא עומד לימינם נגד מלאכיו ורוחותיו ונגד הכל:
But over Israel He did not appoint any angel or spirit, for He alone is their ruler, and He will preserve them and require them at the hand of His angels and His spirits, and at the hand of all His powers in order
ושמרו את כל פקודיו והוא יברך אותם והיו לו לבנים והוא יהיה מעתה ועד עולם:
that He may preserve them and bless them, and that they may be His and He may be theirs from henceforth for ever.
והנני אומר לך מראש כי לא ישמרו בני ישראל את החוקה הזאת ולא ימולו את בניהם על פי כל החוק הזה:
And now I announce unto thee that the children of Israel will not keep true to this ordinance, and they will not circumcise their sons according to all this law;
כי בבשר ערלתם יחדלו מולת בניהם וכולם בני בליעל יניחו ערלת בניהם כיום הולדם:
for in the flesh of their circumcision they will omit this circumcision of their sons, and all of them, sons of Beliar, will leave their sons uncircumcised as they were born.
וקצף גדול יצא על בני ישראל מאת פני אלהים על אשר עזבו את בריתו ומדברו סר לבבם:
And there will be great wrath from the Lord against the children of Israel, because they have forsaken His covenant and turned aside from His word,
ויכעיסוהו וינאצוהו לבלתי שמרם את האות הזאת כחוקתם ותהי להם עורלה ככל הגוים למען יאבדו ויכרתו מן הארץ:
and provoked and blasphemed, inasmuch as they do not observe the ordinance of this law; for they have treated their members like the Gentiles, so that they may be removed and rooted out of the land.
ולא יהיה להם עוד מחילה וסליחה למחול ולסלוח להם על כל עונותיהם על דבר המרי הזה עד עולם:
And there will no more be pardon or forgiveness unto them [so that there should be forgiveness and pardon] for all the sin of this eternal error.
