Yobelim/Jubilés Chapitre 41
1 Et dans la 2e année de la 2e semaine du 45e jubilé, Judah prit pour Er son premier-né une femme des filles d’Aram nommée Tamar, mais il la détestait et ne coucha pas avec elle, car il désirait prendre une femme de la race de sa mère et sa mère était des filles de Canaan, mais Judah son père ne lui permit pas. Et ce Er, le premier-né de Judah était méchant et 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) le tua.
2 Et Judah dit à Onan son frère : Va dans la femme de ton frère et accomplis le devoir du frère du mari avec elle, et élève une semence à ton frère.
3 Et Onan savait que la semence ne sera pas sienne [mais] pour son frère seulement et il alla dans la maison de la femme de son frère et renversa la semence sur le sol et il était méchant aux yeux de 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) qui le tua.
4 Et Judah dit à Tamar sa belle-fille : Reste dans la maison de ton père comme une veuve jusqu’à ce que Selah mon fils grandisse et je te donnerai à lui comme femme.
5 Et il grandit mais Bedsuel la femme de Judah ne lui permit pas de marier son fils Shelah.
6 Et Bedsuel la femme de Judah mourut dans la 5e année de cette semaine.
8 Et ils dirent à Tamar : Voici ton beau-père va à Timnah tondre ses moutons.
9 Et elle enleva ses vêtements de veuve et mit un voile et se déguisa et s’assit à la porte rejoignant la route de Timnah.
10 Et comme Judah y passait, il la trouva et pensa qu’elle était une prostituée et il lui dit : Laisse-moi allez dans toi.
11 Et elle lui dit : Entre. Et il entra.
12 Et elle lui dit : Donne-moi mon salaire.
13 Et il lui dit : Je n’ai rien dans ma main sauf mon anneau qui est sur mon doigt, mon collier et mon bâton qui est dans ma main.
14 Et elle lui dit : Donne-les-moi jusqu’à ce que tu envoies mon salaire.
15 Et il lui dit : Je vais t’envoyer un petit des chèvres.
16 Et il les lui remit et elle conçut par lui.
17 Et Judah partit avec ses moutons et elle partit à la maison de son père.
18 Et Judah envoya un petit des chèvres par la main de son berger, un adullamite, et il ne la trouva pas et demanda aux gens de l’endroit en disant : Où est la prostituée qui était là ?
19 Et ils lui dirent : Il n’y a pas de prostituée avec nous.
20 Et il retourna et l’informa et lui dit qu’il ne l’a pas trouvé : J’ai demandé aux gens de l’endroit et ils m’ont dit qu’il n’y avait pas de prostituée ici.
21 Et il dit : Qu’elle [les] garde avant que nous devenions un objet de dérision.
22 Et quand elle eut complété 3 mois, il était manifeste qu’elle attendait un enfant et ils dirent à Judah : Voici Tamar ta belle-fille est enceinte par prostitution.
23 Et Judah alla à la maison de son père et dit à son père et à ses frères : Amenez-la et qu’ils la brûlent, car elle a commis l’impur en Israël.
24 Et cela arriva quand ils l’amenèrent pour la brûler, elle envoya chez son beau-père l’anneau et le collier et le bâton en disant : Discerne à qui sont cela, car de lui j’attends un enfant.
25 Et Judah prit connaissance et dit : Tamar est plus juste que moi alors ne la brûlez pas.
26 Et pour cette raison, elle ne fut pas donnée à Shelah et il ne l’approcha plus et suite à cela dans la 7e année de la 2e semaine elle porta 2 fils, Perez et Zerah.
27 Et c’est alors que les 7 années d’abondance dont Joseph parla à pharaon furent complétées.
28 Et Judah comprit que l’acte qu’il avait commis était mauvais, car il avait couché avec sa belle-fille et il estimait haineusement cela à ses yeux et comprit qu’il avait transgressé et s’était égaré, car il avait découvert le jupon de son fils.
29 Alors il commença à se lamenter devant 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) et à supplier à cause de sa transgression.
30 Et nous lui dîmes dans un rêve que cela lui était pardonné, car il avait supplié sérieusement et s’est lamenté et ne l’a pas refait. *
* Explication : Ici Elohim lui pardonna car Elohim fait Miséricorde même sur un péché digne de mort qui ne peut-être expié par le sang des animaux car Elohim lorsqu'Il fait Miséricorde n'applique pas la condamnation prévue par Sa Torah et Elohim avait devant les yeux le sacrifice de son Fils Yéshoua annoncé par lequel Il pardonnait à l'avance ceux qui se repentaient d'un coeur sincère dans l'humilité.
31 Et il reçut le pardon parce qu’il se détourna de son péché et de son ignorance, car il avait grandement transgressé devant notre Elohim ; que celui qui agit ainsi et celui qui couche avec sa belle-mère, qu’on le brûle au feu pour qu’il soit brûlé, car il y a impureté et pollution sur eux ; qu’on les brûle au feu.
32 Et toi, commande aux enfants d’Israël qu’il n’y aura pas d’impureté parmi vous, car celui qui couche avec sa belle-fille ou sa belle-mère a commis l’impureté ; qu’on brûle par le feu l’homme qui a couché avec elle ainsi que la femme et je détournerai ma colère et ma punition d’Israël.
33 Et pour Judah, nous disons que ses 2 fils n’ont pas couché avec elle et pour cette raison sa semence fut établie en seconde génération et ne sera pas déracinée, car dans l’unicité de l’œil il est allé et a cherché à connaître la punition selon le jugement qu’Abraham a ordonné à ses fils - Judah a cherché à la brûler par le feu.
וביובל [החמשה וארבעים] בשבוע השני בשנה השנית לקח יהודה לער בכורו אשה מבנות ארם ושמה תמר:
And in the forty-fifth jubilee, in the second week, (and) in the second year, Judah took for his first-born Er, a wife from the daughters of Aram, named Tamar.
והוא שנא אותה ולא שכב אצלה כי היתה אמו מבנות כנען ויחפץ לקחת לו אשה ממשפחת אמו אך יהודה אביו לא נתנו לעשות כן:
But he hated, and did not lie with her, because his mother was of the daughters of Canaan, and he wished to take him a wife of the kinsfolk of his mother, but Judah, his father, would not permit him.
ויהי בכורו זה רע וימיתהו ה':
And this Er, the first-born of Judah, was wicked, and the Lord slew him.
ויאמר יהודה לאונן בנו בוא אל אשת אחיך ויבם אותה:
And Judah said unto Onan, his brother: "Go in unto thy brother's wife and perform the duty of a husband's brother unto her, and raise up seed unto thy brother."
וידע אונן כי לא לו רק לאחיו יהיה הזרע ויבוא אל אשת אחיו וישפוך זרעו ארצה:
And Onan knew that the seed would not be his, (but) his brother's only, and he went into the house of his brother's wife, and spilt the seed on the ground,
וירע הדבר בעיני ה' וימת אותו:
and he was wicked in the eyes of the Lord, and He slew him.
ויאמר יהודה לתמר כלתו שבי אלמנה בית אביך עד יגדל שלה בני ואתן אותך לו לאישה:
And Judah said unto Tamar, his daughter-in-law: "Remain in thy father's house as a widow till Shelah my son be grown up, and I shall give thee to him to wife."
ויגדל אך בת שוע אשת יהודה לא חפצה כי שלה בנה יקח אותה לו לאשה:
And he grew up; but Bêdsû’êl, the wife of Judah, did not permit her son Shelah to marry.
ותמות בת שוע אשת יהודה בשנה החמישית לשבוע ההוא ובשנה השישית עלה יהודה לגוז צאנו תמנתה:
And Bêdsû’êl, the wife of Judah, died in the fifth year of this week.
And in the sixth year Judah went up to shear his sheep at Timnah. And they told Tamar: "Behold thy father-in-law goeth up to Timnah to shear his sheep."
ותסר בגדי אלמנות מעליה ותכס בצעיף ותעד עדיה ותשב על יד השער על דרך תמנתה:
And she put off her widow's clothes, and put on a veil, and adorned herself, and sat in the gate adjoining the way to Timnah.
ויעבור יהודה וימצא אותה ויחשבה לזונה ויאמר אליה אבוא אליך:
And as Judah was going along he found her, and thought her to be an harlot, and he said unto her: "Let me come in unto thee";
ותאמר בוא ויבוא ותאמר הבה לי אתנני ויאמר אין מאומה בידי בלתי אם טבעתי על האצבע ונזם אזני ומטי אשר בידי:
and she said unto him: "Come in," and he went in. And she said unto him: "Give me my hire"; and he said unto her: "I have nothing in my hand save my ring that is on my finger, and my necklace, and my staff which is in my hand."
ותאמר אליו תנה אותם לי עד שולחך לי אתנני ויאמר אליה אנוכי אשלח לך גדי עיזים ויתן אותם לה:
And she said unto him: "Give them to me until thou dost send me my hire"; and he said unto her: "I will send unto thee a kid of the goats"; and he gave them to her,
ותהר לו וילך יהודה אל צאנו והיא שבה אל בית אביה:
(and he went in unto her,) and she conceived by him.
And Judah went unto his sheep, and she went to her father's house.
וישלח יהודה ביד רועה מעדולם גדי עיזים ולא מצאה:
And Judah sent a kid of the goats by the hand of his shepherd, an Adullamite, and he found her not;
וישאל את אנשי המקום לאמור איה הקדשה אשר היתה בזה? ויאמרו אליו אין קדשה אתנו:
and he asked the people of the place, saying: "Where is the harlot who was here?" And they said unto him: "There is no harlot here with us."
וישוב ויגד לו כי לא מצאה ויאמר אליו שאלתי את אנשי המקום ואמרו אלי אין קדשה בזה:
And he returned and informed him, and said unto him that he had not found her; "I asked the people of the place, and they said unto me: 'There is no harlot here.'"
ויאמר קומה ונלכה פן נהיה לבוז:
And he said: "Let her keep (them) lest we become a cause of derision."
ויהי כמשלוש חודשים ידעה כי הרה היא ויגידו ליהודה לאמור הנה תמר כלתך הרה לזנונים:
And when she had completed three months, it was manifest that she was with child, and they told Judah, saying: "Behold Tamar, thy daughter-in-law, is with child by whoredom."
וילך יהודה אל בית אביה ויאמר אל אביה ואמה ואל אחיה הוציאוה ותישרף כי טומאה עשתה בישראל:
And Judah went to the house of her father, and said unto her father and her brothers: "Bring her forth, and let them burn her, for she hath wrought uncleanness in Israel."
ויהי כהוציאם אותה לשריפה ותשלח אל חמיה את הטבעת ואת הנזם ואת המטה לאמור הכר נא למי אלה כי לו אנוכי הרה:
And it came to pass when they brought her forth to burn her that she sent to her father-in-law the ring and the necklace, and the staff, saying: "Discern whose are these, for by him am I with child."
ויכר יהודה ויאמר צדקה תמר ממני ולא שרפו אותה ועל כן לא נתנה לשלה ולא קרב עוד אליה:
And Judah acknowledged, and said: "Tamar is more righteous than I am. And therefore let them burn her not."
And for that reason she was not given to Shelah, and he did not again approach her.
ואחר כן ילדה שני בנים את פרץ ואת זרח בשנה השביעית לשבוע השני ההוא ואז כלו שבע שני השובע אשר אמר יוסף לפרעה:
And after that she bare two sons, Perez and Zerah, in the seventh year of this second week.
And thereupon the seven years of fruitfulness were accomplished, of which Joseph spake to Pharaoh.
וידע יהודה כי רע המעשה אשר עשה כי שכב את כלתו וירע בעיניו וידע כי חטא ואשם כי גילה את כנף בנו:
And Judah acknowledged that the deed which he had done was evil, for he had lain with his daughter-in-law, and he esteemed it hateful in his eyes, and he acknowledged that he had transgressed and gone astray; for he had uncovered the skirt of his son,
ויואל להתאבל ולהתחנן אל ה' על אשמו ויאמר לו בחלום כי נסלח לו עקב אשר העתיר להתחנן והתאבל ולא יסף לחטוא:
and he began to lament and to supplicate before the Lord because of his transgression.<>br>And we told him in a dream that it was forgiven him because he supplicated earnestly, and lamented, and did not again commit it.
ונסלח לו על אשר שב מחטאו ובכסלו כי גדול העוון לפני אלוהינו:
And he received forgiveness because he turned from his sin and from his ignorance, for he transgressed greatly before our God;
איש איש העושה זאת וכל איש אשר ישכב עם חותנתו באש ישרף והיה לאכול:
and every one that acteth thus, every one who lieth with his mother-in-law, let them burn him with fire that he may burn therein,
כי טומאה ותבל בם באש ישרפו:
for there is uncleanness and pollution upon them; with fire let them burn them.
וגם אתה צו את בני ישראל ולא יהיה טומאה בתוכם כי כל השוכב את כלתו ואת חותנתו נבלה עשה:
And do thou command the children of Israel that there be no uncleanness amongst them, for every one who lieth with his daughter-in-law or with his mother-in-law hath wrought uncleanness;
באש ישרפו את האיש השוכב עימה וגם את האישה למען ישיב אפו ומשפטו מישראל:
with fire let them burn the man who hath lain with her, and likewise the woman, and He will turn away wrath and punishment from Israel.
וליהודה אמרנו אם אמנם שני בניו גרעו עונה הוקם זרעו לדור אחר ולא יכרת:
And unto Judah we said that his two sons had not lain with her, and for this reason his seed was established for a second generation, and would not be rooted out.
כי בתום לבבו הלך ויחפוץ בעונש על פי משפט אברהם אשר צוה את בניו חפץ יהודה לשרוף אותה באש:
For in singleness of eye he had gone and sought for punishment, namely, according to the judgment of Abraham, which he had commanded his sons, Judah had sought to burn her with fire.
