Yobelim/Jubilés Chapitre 45
1 Et à la tête du 4e mois de la 2e année de la 3e semaine du 45e jubilé, Israël partit vers la terre de Goshen dans le pays d’Égypte et Joseph alla à la rencontre de Jacob son père dans la terre de Goshen et il tomba au cou de son père et pleura.
2 Et Israël dit à Joseph : Laissez-moi mourir maintenant que je t’ai vu et béni soit 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) l'Elohim d’Israël, l'Elohim d’Abraham et l'Elohim d’Isaac qui n’a pas retenu sa grâce et sa miséricorde envers son serviteur Jacob.
3 C’est assez pour moi d’avoir vu ta face alors que je suis encore en vie. Oui, vraie est la vision que j’ai vue à Bethel. Béni soit 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) mon Elohim pour toujours et à jamais et béni est son nom !
4 Et Joseph et ses frères mangèrent le pain devant leur père et burent du vin et Jacob se réjouit d’une joie sans limite parce qu’il avait vu Joseph manger avec ses frères et boire devant lui et il bénit le Créateur de toutes choses qui l’avait préservé et avait préservé pour lui ses 12 fils.
5 Et Joseph donna à son père et à ses frères comme un cadeau le droit d’habiter sur la terre de Goshen et dans Ramsès et autour dans toute la région qu’il gérait devant pharaon.
6 Et Israël et ses fils habitèrent dans la terre de Goshen, la meilleure part de la terre d’Égypte et Israël était âgé de 130 ans quand il arriva en Égypte.
7 Et Joseph nourrissait son père et ses frères ainsi que leurs possessions avec du pain, autant qu’ils leur suffisaient pour les 7 années de famine.
8 Et la terre d’Égypte souffrait par cause de famine et Joseph acquit toute la terre d’Égypte pour pharaon contre de la nourriture, et il possédait le peuple et leur bétail et toute chose pour pharaon.
9 Et les années de famine furent accomplies et Joseph donna semence et nourriture aux gens de la terre pour qu’ils puissent semer [la terre] dans la 8e année, car la rivière avait débordée dans toute la terre d’Égypte.
10 Car dans la 7e année de famine, elle n’avait [pas] débordée et avait irriguée certains endroits seulement sur les bords de la rivière, mais maintenant elle débordait et les égyptiens semaient la terre et elle porta beaucoup de maïs cette année.
11 Et c’était la 1e année de la 4e semaine du 45e jubilé lorsque Joseph préleva le maïs (blé) de la récolte, la 5e part pour le roi et laissa 4 parts pour eux comme nourriture et pour semer, et Joseph en fit une ordonnance sur la terre d’Égypte jusqu’à ce jour.
13 Et Israël bénit ses fils avant de mourir et leur dit toute chose qui arriverait sur eux dans la terre d’Égypte et il leur fit savoir ce qu’il leur arriverait dans les derniers jours et les bénit et donna à Joseph 2 portions dans la terre.
14 Et il dormit avec ses pères et il fut enterré dans la double cave près d’Abraham, dans la tombe qu’il creusa pour lui-même dans la double cave de la terre d’Hebron.
15 Et il donna tous ses livres et les livres de ses pères à Lévi son fils afin qu’il les conserve et les renouvelle pour ses enfants jusqu’à ce jour.
ויבוא ישראל ארצה מצרים אל ארץ גושן בראש החודש הרביעי בשנה השנית לשבוע השלישי ליובל החמישה וארבעים:
And Israel went into the country of Egypt, into the land of Goshen, on the new moon of the fourth month, in the second year of the third week of the forty-fifth jubilee.
ויבוא יוסף לקראת יעקב אביו ארצה גושן ויפול על צווארי אביו ויבך:
And Joseph went to meet his father Jacob, to the land of Goshen, and he fell on his father's neck and wept.
ויאמר ישראל אל יוסף אמותה הפעם אחרי ראותי אותך:
And Israel said unto Joseph: "Now let me die since I have seen thee,
ויהי מבורך ה' אלהי ישראל אלהי אברהם ואלהי יצחק אשר לא כלא רחמיו וחסדו מיעקב עבדו:
and now may the Lord God of Israel be blessed, the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac who hath not withheld His mercy and His grace from His servant Jacob.
רב לי כי ראיתי את פניך בעודני חי:
It is enough for me that I have seen thy face whilst I am yet alive;
אכן אמת המראה אשר ראיתי בבית אל יהיה ה' אלוהי מבורך לעולמי עד:
yea, true is the vision which I saw at Bethel. Blessed be the Lord my God for ever and ever, and blessed be His name."
ויאכלו יוסף ואחיו לחם וישתו יין לפני אביהם וישמח יעקב שמחה גדולה מאוד בראותו את יוסף אוכל ושותה לפניו עם אחיו:
And Joseph and his brothers ate bread before their father and drank wine, and Jacob rejoiced with exceeding great joy because he saw Joseph eating with his brothers and drinking before him,
ויברך לבורא כל היקום אשר שמר אותו ואשר שמר לו את שנים עשר בניו:
and he blessed the Creator of all things who had preserved him, and had preserved for him his twelve sons.
ויתן יוסף לאביו ולאחיו את ארץ גושן לאחוזה למען ישבו בה וברעמסס ובכל גבולה למשול בה לפני פרעה:
And Joseph had given to his father and to his brothers as a gift the right of dwelling in the land of Goshen and in Rameses and all the region round about, which he ruled over before Pharaoh.
וישב ישראל ובניו בארץ גושן במיטב ארץ מצרים וישראל בן שלושים ומאת שנה בבואו מצרימה:
And Israel and his sons dwelt in the land of Goshen, the best part of the land of Egypt; and Israel was one hundred and thirty years old when he came into Egypt,
ויכלכל יוסף את אביו ואת אחיו ואת קנינם בלחם לפי צורכיהם בשבע שני הרעב:
And Joseph nourished his father and his brethren and also their possessions with bread as much as sufficed them for the seven years of the famine.
ותלה ארץ מצרים מפני הרעב ויקן יוסף את כל אדמת מצרים לפרעה בשבר וגם את האנשים ואת בהמתם הכל קנה פרעה:
And the land of Egypt suffered by reason of the famine, and Joseph acquired all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh in return for food, and he got possession of the people and their cattle and everything for Pharaoh.
ותכלינה שבע שני הבצורת ויתן יוסף לעמי הארץ זרע ולחם לזרוע בשנה השמינית כי עלה היאור על כל ארץ מצרים:
And the years of the famine were accomplished, and Joseph gave to the people in the land seed and food that they might sow (the land) in the eighth year, for the river had overflowed all the land of Egypt.
כי בשבע שני הבצורת השקה רק מקומות אחדים הקרובים אל שפת היאור ועתה עלה על כל גדותיו:
For in the seven years of the famine it had not overflowed and had irrigated only a few places on the banks of the river, but now it overflowed
ויזרעו המצרים את האדמה ותעש תבואה רבה בשנה ההיא השנה הראשונה לשבע הרביעי ליובל החמשה וארבעים:
and the Egyptians sowed the land, and it bore much corn that year. And this was the first year of the fourth week of the forty-fifth jubilee.
ויקח יוסף מן הדגן אשר זרעו חמישיתו למלך וארבע הידות הניח להם לאכול ולזרוע וישם אותה יוסף לחוק על אדמת מצרים עד היום הזה:
And Joseph took of the corn of the harvest the fifth part for the king and left four parts for them for food and for seed, and Joseph made it an ordinance for the land of Egypt until this day.
ויהי ישראל בארץ מצרים שבע עשרה שנה ויהי כל ימי חייו שלושה שבועים שבע שנים וארבעים ומאת שנה:
And Israel lived in the land of Egypt seventeen years, and all the days which he lived were three jubilees, one hundred and forty-seven years,
וימת בשנה הרביעית לשבוע החמישי ליובל הארבעים וחמשה:
and he died in the fourth year of the fifth week of the forty-fifth jubilee.
ויברך ישראל את בניו לפני מותו ויגד להם את כל אשר יקרא אותם בארץ מצרים ואת אשר יבוא עליהם באחרית הימים:
And Israel blessed his sons before he died and told them everything that would befall them in the land of Egypt; and he made known to them what would come upon them in the last days,
את כל הגיד להם ויברך אותם ויתן ליוסף פי שנים בארץ:
and blessed them and gave to Joseph two portions in the land.
וישכב עם אבותיו ויקבר במערת המכפלה בארץ כנען אל אברהם אביו בקבר אשר כרה לו במערת המכפלה בארץ חברון:
And he slept with his fathers, and he was buried in the double cave in the land of Canaan, near Abraham his father in the grave which he dug for himself in the double cave in the land of Hebron.
ויתן את כל ספריו ואת ספרי אבותיו אל לוי בנו לשמור אותם ולחדש אותם לבניו עד היום הזה:
And he gave all his books and the books of his fathers to Levi his son that he might preserve them and renew them for his children until this day.
